Bubblecake was such a cute little shop we loved our visit! We went in just planning to grab a cupcake or two, but they were running a promo, so we ended up getting six… and I’m so glad we did! Every flavor we tried was delicious and had its own unique charm.
My husband picked the Old School (classic vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing), and he really enjoyed how simple and nostalgic it was. My daughter chose the Birthday Cake flavor, and her favorite part was definitely the icing she raved about it. My son had the Strawberry and ate the entire thing quietly, which for him means it was a big hit. My other daughter picked Double Chocolate and absolutely loved it it was rich and decadent.
I got the Tiffany cupcake, and wow the subtle almond flavor in the icing was amazing. It was elegant, not overpowering, and really stood out as my favorite.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the inside of the shop was just as sweet as the cupcakes cute, cozy, and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and have a sweet tooth!

I’m really pleased with my experience at Bubblecake. I ordered the red velvet cupcake and it was delicious and perfectly frosted. The service was just as impressive. Everything was quick, clean and easy, from placing the order to picking it up. The staff was friendly and welcoming and my order was ready in no time. It’s clear they care about both their treats and their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving something sweet!

Do you have a sweet tooth? I do. And I always take it to Bubblecake. I can rely on a plethora of decadent confections to choose anytime I drop in. I love treating myself to a cupcake and keeping the BOGO “cupcake cards” they sell once in a while handy in my glove box of my car for when I need a treat! Thank you for being consistently delicious! P.s. would love to see some mini pies & the giant birthday cake slices (with the beautiful sprinkles) rotate back in!

My favorite cupcake shop in Roanoke hands down!! Soft flavorful cake topped with an I credible amount of perfectly sweetened icing. Their flavors range from creative to classic and they never disappoint! HOWEVER, You don’t have to just stick to tasty cupcakes. They also have cookies, cookie sandwiches, cheesecake, pecan pie The Brandon location has the cutest aesthetic now and it’s even linked to a cool pizza shop. Great cupcake place. The presentation was very fun and the flavors were great. It is sugary but not as much as I expected. It is the right level of sugar. The frosting was very good and the cupcake was moist. Worth a try.

I was really weary about this place because of some of the reviews. I got the cookie butter and was nervous it would be too sweet. It was very delicious. I’m quite picky about cake but this was yummy. The frosting was not too sweet, just the right amount of sugar. Cinnamony, vanilla goodness. There was NOT a big pile on top. The actual cake has a “bubble” on top around the paper lining, so it looks like a pound of frosting but it’s not. I will admit, the actual cake is not amazing flavor wise. It needed vanilla bean maybe? It’s slightly bland. I’m not going to declare box cake but I won’t discount it either. It’s not bad, in fact the cake was moist and not crumbly. Eat the cupcake like a normal person—frosting and cake with each bite, and it’s great. I’d eat it again 100%.
