Delicious BBQ. Scratched the itch. We visited in late May and arrived around 7PM. He had burgers and Ribs left. He was out of brisket and pulled pork. All sides available. The burgers looked awesome, but we got the Ribs which were fantastic, very meaty and great sauce. The green beans were great too. He shut down a little after we were done, but I think it was because he sold out. Owner was very friendly to us.

We had the pulled pork and cheeseburger while sitting at the nearby winery (great combination)! If you’re headed fot Glacier or just planning to be at the winery and need some dinner, this is a great place. Dave is a nice guy and an obvious barbecue expert. In short: recommended!

We spent a week in Montana recently and had multiple visits to Bubba’s. It looks run down but the food is amazing. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, and ribs. Each was incredible. If you get the pulled pork, get it with mayo, pickles, and onions. So good. The green beans are super garlicy and delicious. You won’t be disappointed or hungry after.

Farthest thing from real bbq I’ve ever had. The “brisket” was over cooked braised beef served with unseasoned corn and basic potato salad. The pulled pork tasted like Lloyd’s bbq from the grocery store, the green beans were overloaded with minced garlic, and the bbq beans had no flavor. Having had some of the best bbq from Memphis to St. Louis and down to Lockhart, Texas, this place was a complete disappointment. I feel really bad being this harsh since the owner was super friendly but I can’t allow others to be fooled by the exceptionally high rating that this place otherwise has. Plus, at $34 for two not including tip one would expect a lot more.

Driving by, doesn’t look promising — and that would be your first and likely biggest mistaken assumption. He’s from Texas, brings multi-generational family recipes and adds his perfectionist quality control.

Much like Millie, from The Help, flatly unwilling to “burn the chicken,” Bubba doesn’t disappoint — neither does he lack conviction, principles or character. It shows upon opening the dinner plate, and returns with every savored bite.

You’d have to turn southeast, drive maybe 1,200 miles, to find similar (though likely still inferior) sliced beef brisket or pulled pork.

If you drive past this place without stopping and ordering, you have insulted your stomach, damned your tastebuds, and shrunk your wallet unwisely (the prices are much too cheap for the quality and quantity, let alone the availability).

The potato salad, green beans, baked beans, pulled pork sandwich, sliced beef brisket plates my wife and I just ordered were absolutely phenomenal, easily a second full meal of leftovers — IF we can resist the temptation to gorge ourselves without stopping.

Do yourselves a huge favor, do NOT pass this place by…

We grabbed food after checking out the White Raven Winery; his truck is in front of the building. What a great stop. It’s clear that they put absolutely everything they’ve got into their food – everything was made to perfection. It’s the best bbq we’ve had in a long time.

the worst bbq food in the valley, bbq should never be coming out of crockpot… soggy old ribs, gross beans, he runs his deep fryer better than he cooks meats… frankly in disbelief… guy is super nice and talks highly about his food, not sure if hes a complete fraud or has just never has good bbq?
