BBQ was definitely delicious and the place has the look of great smokehouse as you can see in the pictures. Self service at the front counter where you place the order and they call your name when order is ready to be picked up same counter. Also self seating and you bus your own table. We will be back.

Bubba’s BBQ was amazing! The brisket was the best I’ve ever had, the turkey melted in my mouth and was unbelievably moist. The brisket nachos were a full meal on their own and so tasty. The mac and cheese and tallow fries were incredible, and the potato salad with a vinegar flavor was good, just different from what I’m used to. The atmosphere was great, even though the drink station felt a little out of place and parking was a bit tricky. Still, it was worth it for the food, and I’ll definitely return if I’m ever in the area again!

They might be listed here as ‘Bubba’s Smokehouse & Spirits,’ but they also go by ‘Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ’—and honestly, they should stick with the ‘Bad’ name because it fits the experience perfectly.

Per notice, the owner displays her combative attitude in response to the numerous reviews sharing experience of well her being combative!

The worst part of the experience was the owner. The brisket we ordered was literally so dry we gagged and choked on it. It was also a strange, pale white color.
When I tried to explain this, the owner rushed over—not to help, but to be argumentative. She essentially tried to authoritatively lecture me, claiming that brisket is supposed to be that way. When I pressed the issue because I wasn’t being heard, she just gave me a fake smile and made a noise as if she was dismissing me. It was incredibly condescending. On top of that, the macaroni salad was not fresh at all.
It is a real shame because her son, who took our order, was quite nice and helpful. The tri-tip was actually tasty and interesting, served in slices the size of bacon. But a polite son and decent tri-tip can’t make up for an owner who serves inedible food and treats customers with such disrespect.

Quirky spot with tasty BBQ, I recommend Bubba’s if you’re in the area. We stayed at a hotel nearby with two small dogs. Walking to Bubba’s and chilling outside was nice. I appreciated the heat lamps and dog friendly vibe. The BBQ was solid. Tasty trip tip and excellent brisket – I really liked the Hawaiin mac salad and onion rings.

I was debating on posting because the worker really pissed me off. The food is really good, but the to-go containers on Sundays for the Chicken Fried Steak are too small, especially when customers order multiple items. It would help if employees handed out proper trays and treated customers with more respect instead of showing attitude. Anyways the food is amazing I can’t take that away because it was a great experience and great food.

The food was decent, but the experience was completely ruined by the Jill taking orders, who appeared to be the owner. Jill’s attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. When I asked if a chicken dish could be made mild, she made a degrading comment about how her 15- and 16-year-old children can handle the spice—an unnecessary and unprofessional response to a simple question from a first-time customer.

Jill also charged for ranch sauces, which I don’t mind, but did so abrasively without any explanation.

The food itself was fine, but the woman’s behavior behind the counter overshadowed everything else. Based on both this experience and similar complaints in other reviews, her attitude is clearly an ongoing issue. I would not return.

What an horrible experience during our visit. We ordered a brisket salad. It was Soggy, chewy and pink when i specifically asked for well done. We pushed through and ordered a pizza instead and the staff agreed to refund the salad. Still no good. On our way out the manager refused to refund the salad and the served scared of her lied about saying yes to the refund. The attitude of the manager more than the food being no good was the worst and the most unprofessional. Will make sure to never stop by again. Disgusting food and disgusting customer service.

Negative experience for me. We got the 2 meat deal. The Brisket pink and soggy, the texture made it a chore to choke down. My wife got the salad and the meat was also soggy and she couldn’t eat it. We tried to buy another Item to save the experience, the chicken pizza. When we got it, the crust couldn’t have been actual pizza dough. More like the dough you get from a Pillsbury dough can. And the sauce on top was just thousand island dressing, couldn’t do it. Then when we tried to get our money back for at least the salad. The lady manager had some dumb rule about “4 minutes out, no refund”. And stated it like we had fair warning. Wasn’t cool. Even after the cashier had told us we could. He was obviously scared of her and said he didn’t understand us, and just said “yes” when we asked. This experience will leave a really bad memory for me.

We are always searching for a good bbq gem, and this was not it. We were sadly disappointed. Great music playing as you walk in. Cool smoker (not in use) out front…this place seemed promising. We came in at noon, not too early. However, the food was mediocre at best. The smoked pizza they boast was like a frozen pizza. The meat was likely yesterday’s leftovers, as it was dry and hard. Very disappointed.

Everything we ordered was excellent!! Sliced brisket, pork spare ribs, Mac n cheese, corn pudding, collard greens and potato salad. The fatty brisket and corn pudding were my favorite and the desserts were really good..
