This restaurant is a true gem for down-home cooking! Every bite was absolutely delicious, and the prices are almost unbelievable—you feel like you’re getting the deal of a lifetime. The brisket was perfectly tender, the ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the BBQ overall was top-notch. You have to try the sweet potato souffle; it’s rich, flavorful, and downright unforgettable. The portions are generous, and everything is packed with flavor. Don’t skip the peach cobbler—it’s hands-down the best I’ve ever had. We’re already planning our next trip from Brownwood because this place is worth every mile!

Quaint spot with great food and extensive menu. Has bbq, select Cajun specialties, and Tex mex food. I got the small chopped brisket sandwich with onions, jalapeño, and pickles as well as the boudin balls. Both dishes were great and I’d try it again.

Service was great and plenty of room for seating.

The food was amazing!!! Everyone was super friendly.
We ordered brisket and sides ,potato salad, garden salad, dirty rice, sweet potato soufflé, french fries and beans. Our favorite was the sweet potato soufflé but looks like you can’t go wrong with anything you order.

The inside of this “restaurant” was very questionable. No air conditioning, bathroom needs work, and lots of miscellaneous items around the inside. Despite all of this, there was nice service and the food was really good. I would suggest getting the food to go, and you might be happy.
