My experience at Bubba’s Shrimp Shack in Grafton has the most pleasant , wonderful and absolutely amazing encounter. The staff is respectful, personable and always pleasant. The food was mediocre. I’m a huge fan of well seasoned food and this place doesn’t use ANY. It was bland with just batter. The sweet potato fries are very thin and do not present any flavor, served cold and dry. The regular fries were soggy. The catfish filets were thin and medium sized. I did enjoy the shrimp, they were juicy and decent sized. The hushpuppies were good and just the right size with a good crisp. The okra was, well okra. There was nothing special about it, I honestly couldn’t taste anything. The clam strips had zero flavor. The special sauce was not for me and the tarter sause was way too mayonnaise forward. Overall it was extremely expensive and disappointing.

I placed a pickup order using an app outside the operating hours unintentionally. The order was fulfilled 100% even shortly after the store closed. The staff was really nice about the situation and the food was fantastic. Thank you Bubba’s for being cool about the whole thing. Will eat here again and recommend.

The food came out fast and fresh. However, they messed up on an order with swapping out fries for coleslaw. No worries easy fix there. My main thing is, with the prices of the sandwhiches to think they would come with a side. But besides that the food was so good. I will come here again.

Recently was taken to lunch at Bubba’s by a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the seafood and the portions for the price. This is a hidden gem. So many “fish shacks” begin with low end seafood and then try to cover it up with heavy breading or batter. Not at Bubba’s lightly coated and fried to perfection. I could go on and on but it’s better you try it for yourself.
The folks at the order counter could not have been friendlier both wore big smiles and were eager to please. The place was well decorated and very clean including the restroom. The assortment of sauces available at each table was an extra nice touch. I’m a seafood lover and I’m not impressed with overpriced places that feel your paying for atmosphere, ambience, and a big name. Give me quality and a fair price, with excellent customer service like Bubba’s offers and I’m your customer for life. Stop in and try them for yourself.

One of the best fresh and very lightly-breaded fried shrimp! The crab cake is also very meaty and yummy, along with their green beans.

Bubba’s is a seafood paradise! Shrimp is their signature dish but don’t overlook all the other delicious offerings!! Soup, sides, salads; Even Chicken !! They know how to “Fry” food….. not heavy and greasy, but light ☁️ and crispy!! Give Bubba’s a try next time you’re Jones’n for good Seafood. Your taste buds will love ❤️ you!!!

Best in town by all means! Prefect to take the kids to after church on Sunday afternoon or just a Saturday splurge! Grab ya some good get back Seafood and enjoy the sports card shop next door perfect for the kids as a reward/hobby to start childhood memories.
