This business has been around since 1998, and I can tell you they have earned it. The food is well-prepared, and the menu offers a variety for everyone: sandwiches, fish fry Fridays, burgers, sides, hot dogs, and, of course, custard! Don’t forget to ask about the Sandwich of the Week. There is outdoor and indoor seating and plenty of parking. Their special flavors of the day for custard are always interesting and worth trying.
The pricing is appropriate. I believe the entire location is ADA accessible which is nice for everyone to enjoy.

Bubba’s has a very loyal following, with myself included. Their food is always hot because it’s all made to order, which can slow down the service so be prepared to wait a bit. Much of the food reminds me of what I had growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Italian Beef, hot dogs, great burgers, and several other sandwiches. I always like it when tater tots are the side of the week, but their fries and rings are always good. Atmostphere is what you would expect, but usually cleaner than most with a friendly staff.

Stop here for the first time traveling through. They had great reviews so I tried it because I’m a reviewer. I had fish and onion rings and a strawberry.

My wife and I have been here several times. The various hot dog offerings are great, I love the Chicago dog and my wife loves the chili dog. The Italian beef is also very good. Theiy have a variety of hamburgers and the couple I have tried are good sized and very good. Their custard is one of the best in the area. I highly recommend.

My family & I were staying at a nearby hotel/water park and decided to go exploring eat options. Stumbled onto this place on Google maps and was delighted trying Bubba’s.
Obviously for Wisconsinites, burgers + frozen custard are familiar territory but for us Illinoisans it’s a treat.
In the vein of Culver’s which happily we do have in IL, Bubba’s boasts an extensive menu with an emphasis on BIG juicy burgers. Not too many burger/frozen custard joints in the area where I live.
IL especially in the Chicago metro area is big on the “V” eateries, Vienna Beef hot dog venues. I love Chicago style grub but I also do get a craving for good ol’ WI eats and this place was well worth the stop in.
That’s the advantage of living a few short miles south of the WI border in Lake County IL is what lies a few minutes north, there’s plenty to explore.
Not sure if this place is local or a chain but if ever in the area again, could definitely stop back in for some tasty WI grub. That burger was awesome, the food in general was really good at still reasonable prices and the service was very friendly.

Food is decent, but the staff is usually very, very rude. I don’t know if that has to do with location, I don’t get it, but nonetheless, staff is rude for the most part. Just be courteous, it’s not that difficult

My cousin referred me to Bubba’s last month. We made the trip and so glad we did. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptionally fast. I was granted the opportunity to stop again this past week and tried a burger off their menu. It was very good!
My only complaint would have been to provide a cleaner bathroom. In Bubba’s defense regarding that, we did visit during peek lunch time. I’m glad we found Bubba’s regardless.
I can’t wait to visit again. Keep up the great work Bubbas staff!

I came for my birthday sundae and had a cheeseburger and soda with it, fantastic food, excellent sundae , I used to come here for years but I don’t live close anymore but took a ride and happy I did, front counter ladie was very polite and keeps all clean including counter, condiment area and tables, highly recommend checking out the place and sit back and enjoy

Amazing! We stopped here while waiting for the kids to get done with practice and we were blown away. Had the shrimp po’ boy sandwich, one of the best ever and we’ve eaten many in New Orleans. The custard was so good, fresh and creamy. If you are in the Pewaukee area, definitely worth a stop.
