Was staying in a cabin just outside of Quitman and tried Bubbas for dinner. The value and food were amazing. This is a little hole in the wall type place which serves amazing fried seafood. I got the Bubba Platter and it was soooo much food for about $20. The atmosphere is definitely small town and this seems to be the place to be for dinner. Service was friendly and good. Looking forward to making another trip just to eat at Bubbas.

We were heading up Hwy 45 and looking for a place for a late lunch and found Bubba’s on Google. I got the catfish poboy and my wife got the cheese stake. They were both great! The home style fries that came with the sandwiches were really good too. Be sure to get the coleslaw. It is different but good. It has sweet pickles in it but it works!

Surprisingly good for the only non-fastfood restaurant we saw in town. My traveling companion said the fried catfish was very tasty. The cole slaw was very sweet. Very much a country restaurant. Good prices.

This was a very good quick stop for dinner for my family of five. My kids all asked if we could come again on our next road trip. Catfish was so good!
I would like to commend the staff for their exceptional service. Despite the presence of extremely rude patrons nearby, who persisted in complaining from the moment they arrived until the situation escalated, the staff maintained their composure. After we paid and departed, I observed the staff handling the situation with kindness and tact. We will certainly return and I hope the staff takes pride in their professionalism.

This was our first time visiting Bubba’s Catfish House and it was pretty good! There are no other seafood restaurants in the Meridian area that are worth a flip, but Bubba’s didn’t disappoint! My wife had grilled shrimp, with fries and hushpuppies. I had the special which was smoked chicken, brisket, sausage, and ribs. They also bring you a big ole bowl and delicious cole slaw!! The food was great, but the service was ok, they may have just been having an off night and it’s understandable in the food service industry. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, just a small country seafood restaurant. We will definitely be back in the future!!

First time eating at this establishment. Purchased a small fish filet combo and a crawfish poboy combo. Received absolutely tremendous service. Kate is EXCELLENT. Food tasted delicious and very fresh.
Please note: In the photos, there is approximately 20% of the actual sandwich left. (It was super delicious. We were lucky to have caught that piece for a photo! )

This place is great! We had Bubbas platter and came back to the next day for po-boys. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Cole slaw rocked and the friend fish, oysters and shrimp were great. Grilled shrimp with ribeye pO-boy was excellent!!
