The food was great the firecracker shrimp and the pan seared salmon were especially pleasing to the palate. The atmosphere was good and the service was great. Both the hostess and the server were very personable and pleasant. The firecracker shrimp had just enough kick to live up to the firecracker moniker but not so much of a kick that you were chugging your water or drink. The pan seared salmon has a white wine sauce over it and I substituted the jasmine rice for green beans that were cooked with bacon pieces. It was a very delicious meal.

We went to Bubbas after my daughter’s graduation to celebrate. The staff were excellent and took special care of each of our needs. 20% tips are automatically added to the check however the gals that waited on us were more than worth it. I will definitely return!
Appetizer trio, burgers, ribs and more were all excellent!

What an interesting experience. We’ve dined here a few times without incident and then tonight, while participating in trivia night, the shrimp app we ordered to go had the smallest amount of shrimp for the price of $14 AND the Old Fashioned I ordered was honestly just bourbon poured over a circle of ice – no aromatics, nothing.

Disappointed.

Not likely to be back.

Had dinner with my mom at Bubba’s in Harrisburg and absolutely enjoyed the food & experience! The atmosphere was rustic, especially loving the ceiling and wall aesthetic. The Mac N Cheese bites with ranch were incredible, plenty to share. The Big B burger was pretty good with the pimento cheese having room to improve. My mom loved the Reuben. Meat was hanging out of the sides! Both of us thought the fries were especially crispy and seasoned to perfection! The highlight to be sure was the fries and Mac n Cheese bites. Will try other items next time!

Visited Bubba’s Bunkhouse on a Monday evening around 7pm. There was a decent crowd and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Wait staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Ordered a taco salad with grilled chicken and the weekly special which was a chipotle chicken wrap. The taco salad was well presented and well appointed with fresh greens, cheese, avocado, grilled chicken and chipotle vinaigrette dressing. The taco shell was full and nice and crispy. The chipotle chicken wrap was good size and tasty but very messy. Restaurant atmosphere is pleasant and tastefully decorated.

It was our first time eating at Bubba’s. Great location and great decore and a great atmosphere. An eclectic but fun menu. My daughter ordered the G.O.A.T. salad with chicken. The fried goat cheese definitely added to the salad. The raspberry vinaigrette was perfect touch the overall flavor. My wife ordered the Breakfast Flatbread. It was a large portion and was excellent. The gravy flavor did not overwhelm the bread or the eggs. Excellent dish. I ordered the Texas Patty Melt. To be honest, I was disappointed with two things. The size of the patty melt. I felt it was small for a 15 dollar burger. Yes, it was a double patty, but it was small. Secondly there was barely any A1 sauce on it. The overall sandwich was delicious, I was just disappointed in the size. To be fair, I could have ordered more A1 sauce. Our waitress Haylee was awesome. She was friendly and attentive. The overall experience was great and am more than willing to visit again.

We’ve always loved going to Bubba’s. We’ve visited the restaurant several times since it opened. We’ve always had excellent service and good food and never experienced a visit like we did Friday February 27th.

I’ve been double charged for a visit once before which was corrected and eventually did fall off my account. We visited last year for the Mother’s Day brunch which was a bit chaotic and unorganized. The food was decent but not amazing. It was the first time that they offered it so we didn’t think about not going back to the restaurant because we did like the food, the atmosphere and the location. I gave feedback about their buffet placement which caused a backup line causing a disruption to other patrons sitting at their tables. They listened and appreciated the feedback.

We visited last week to celebrate the end of year cheer season for my middle school daughter who cheered her last middle school game before going off to high school. She loves loves LOVES the roast prime sandwich. It’s the only thing she orders every time we go there. It has always come out with a cup-size glass soup bowl of au jus. When they brought it out it didn’t come with one. I could tell she was upset so I went to get someone to help so she didn’t have to sit there and wait because she was also very very hungry.

The restaurant was very busy. Our waiter was excellent and communicative and attentive but he was also very busy with other tables. I asked a hostess for the au jus and she brought out a small black plastic ramekin similar to one you would get dipping sauce in. Her dad and I asked why it didn’t come in the small glass bowl like we’ve had before and she seemed a bit put off but was friendly and said she would go get it. In the meantime, we noticed that my daughter did in fact have a small black plastic ramekin of au jus on her plate but it was not noticed because she had also asked for ketchup and ranch and was specifically looking for the glass bowl. After talking to the waiter I learned they recently stopped offering the glass soup cup of au jus. I’m really not sure how they expect people to have such a large wide sandwich to dip in a small tiny plastic dipping ramekin but nonetheless they did get one and she was able to enjoy her meal but not after the uncomfortability, from the hostess and the manager, of seeming like I was demanding something outrageous. I think they should go back to the soup bowl but now we know to request it when ordering.

We ordered wings as an appetizer and they were tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich. I got the Hot Honey chicken sandwich. I always get the Firecracker shrimp tacos or a combo of the different tacos they offer, but I wanted to try something different. I wasn’t disappointed. Her dad got the Smokehouse Picks which came with a half rack of ribs. He enjoyed his other meats and vegetables but his ribs were extremely dry. I even took a bite just to see if he was overreacting. I’ve honestly gotten better ribs at Harris Teeter to go from their hot food case. We didn’t ask for the meal to be comped because I work in the customer service industry at a food and drink establishment and typically I would never.
I honestly wouldn’t complain at all unless it was excessive and far from the food and service we had been accustomed to on prior visits. I don’t like to complain too much to the wait staff because I know the struggles of working in a high-paced customer oriented food service business.
Nothing that happened last Friday was any of our waiters fault. He was great and he was also empathetic about our experience and even said ‘We can always improve.”

When the manager came over he listened to me with a stone cold face and his hands clasped together in front of himself like he was waiting for something from me. He offered zero apologies, nodded his head, said yes ma’am and walked away. It was quite awkward.

I’m sure we will give Bubba’s another try because it is very close to our home and in our community but we hope we have a better experience next time.

Bubba’s has staked it’s claim in The Burg and surrounding area. Whether it’s an after-work drink with a friend or a group of friends/family assembled for dinner, it works ! A well-stocked bar. 4-shelve bottle selection; fine spirits for every taste and price range. The beer selection offers a nice variety between the taps and bottles. Tantamount to all: An Attentive Bar Staff. This team was hustling: filling dining room bar orders and tending to a full, double-sided bar. There is outside seating for those so inclined, and a convivial atmosphere all around. Thanks for great service. Carry On !!

Hands down likely the best place I’ve been to since I’ve moved to Charlotte, NC! The atmosphere is super amazing and dope! The staff upon entering just seem like they are happy that you arrived! More than accommodating here for your preference and comfort! Staff appear to be knowledgeable, engaging, and professional! The place was clean and the food was FANTASTIC! All I can say is if you are looking for somewhere to go or a date night just try this place out. And I am not being paid to send this review nor any of my other reviews I just genuinely like helping people find great experiences this is truly my new favorite spot to patronize! Thank you!
