One of the best BBQ places around! Everything is good here, never had a bad experience. Their chicken tenders, brisket, mac and cheese, beans and slaw are really good. I love their variety of choices! You will not be disappointed.

Today. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 3pm. Ordered the brisket plates. Sides of baked beans, potato salad, fries and sweet potato fries. Brisket and sides were barely warm. Brisket in a liquid similar to Au Jus but tasted like pure liquid smoke and concentrated. The brisket was extremely dry and tearing in stringy pieces. Couldn’t chew it and spit it out. Ot looked more like a baked, sliced beef roast with Au Jus spooned over it instead of bbq brisket. Sides okay and potato salad tasted like a commercial salad from Costco. And a waitress told my husband she couldn’t change tv channel to watch the game and told him he should be eating at home and watching it there instead of the restaurant. We couldn’t eat our food, so we were leaving when another waitress got the owner. After speaking with us and looking at our food, he refunded our money but only after I asked for a refund. His first offer was to replace it. No thank you on more of the same. We will not be back as this is not the first time this has happened here. Pictures included. You can see how dry it is.

Really enjoyed the comfortable family vibes while eating. I received my food in about 5 minutes even with a full house and a line in the drive-thru. Being from chicago I found it so interesting that they had a drive-through, but it seems like they were faster than your normal fast food restaurant. The pulled pork was amazing.

Wholly cow! Hands down amazing BBQ! Everything on my plate was top notch! The ribs were fall off the bone, pulled pork was moist and great flavors, the smoked sausage had a tiny bit of spicy, the hush puppies were also good. The onion rings are the best I’ve had in about 15 years!Service was great everyone was super nice, welcoming and coming around to check if you needed anything. The only disappointing thing is, this restaurant is 3 hours from home. This has to be on your list of BBQ to try.

I wanted a good authentic BBQ while here in SC. Did a ton of research.
I landed on Bubbas.
A TON of food for a very reasonable price.
Incredibly delicious!
Service was quick. Staff was super friendly. And I have leftovers for breakfast!

Really good bbq, but the onion rings, ohh the onion rings. Thinly sliced red onions deep fried, oh my. The best. Worth every visit and usually the craving for them gets us heading to Bubbas. Lots of great food options and sides. Doesn’t disappoint.

I travel a bunch. East to west coast. I live in Georgia so I know good bbq.
The pulled pork was so greasy I could only eat a bit or two.
The baked beans had to of been dumped in the warmer straight from a can.
Mac and cheese pie…. Such a disappointment noodles cooked 3X too long and way too greasy.
The calabash chicken wasn’t bad.
Why I ask why are there hush puppies with this plate?
This is not good bbq or anything.
Please do yourself a favor and if you want bbq go somewhere else.

Bubba’s BBQ
Bubba’s has always been one of my favorite spots. Even though I live on the other side of town, I do not mind the 20 minute drive because the food is usually worth it. But today was a completely different experience and honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth and not because of the food.
I pulled into the drive-thru and placed my order. The cashier asked me to hold on while they checked how long the wait would be for the car ahead of me. When she returned, I was told to park in spot one. The car behind me was sent to spot two. The car in front of me eventually received their order and left, which allowed others to move up. Another car was pulled up, then another sent to spot three. Meanwhile, I continued to wait.
I sat and watched car after car who had all ordered after me get their food and drive away. Even one of the customers looked at me through her window with a puzzled expression, like she knew I had been ahead of her in line.
I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for a simple order: Calabash chicken, mac and cheese, and fried okra. When the food was finally brought to my car, there was no apology, and not even a thank you for waiting. Just a handoff of the bag and that was it.
This is not the kind of service I expect from a place I go out of my way to support. I understand delays happen, but communication and courtesy go a long way. A simple acknowledgment would have made a big difference. It is disappointing to feel like your time and money do not matter.

We ordered catering for about 15 people, and everything—from the initial communication to the food pickup—was excellent. The team clearly takes pride in what they do and cares about the quality of their product. We had brisket, mac and cheese, green beans, corn, and brownies, and every item was outstanding. The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and everyone left full and happy. Highly recommend for any event!
