Bubba’s 33 puts on a great meal. Ben who runs the restaurant really talks to guests and understands what makes good food and a welcoming restaurant atmosphere. The burgers are our favorite, but we want to try the pizza too. If we have one suggestion to make the place better, it’s to turn the music down a tad. It’s quite loud inside for someone with anxiety like me.

I would’ve gave it a 5star but the food took a long time to come out. Also I asked the server for no Onions on my Grilled Chicken salad, and my salad came with onions. Other than that my kids and husband enjoyed their food.

I am a regular at the Bubbas in Gastonia, NC. I love their food, but I do have a complaint. When I order nachos minus sour cream, add guacamole (charge for guacamole) they add A VERY tiny amount of guacamole- maybe a teaspoon. For $1. Every now and then get lucky and get enough for nachos. The tiny amount otherwise is not nearly enough and shameful since charging. Personally would rather get enough for the nachos even if have to charge a bit more – the amount added is laughable. Otherwise no complaints, love going there!

I love Bubba’s and decided to try something different on the menu but to say I was disappointed this time around. We got there during the beginning of lunch time and it wasn’t overly crowded but the wait for food was a good 30-40 mins. And other people got their food before us even after arriving 5mins after we did. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and it was okay but not the best. I had the chicken tender dinner this time around and the tenders were a bit under seasoned for my taste. The Mac n cheese was just not at all good. It had a splash of cheese at the bottom and giant blank noodles topped with breadcrumbs and only took one bite. The garlic mash potatoes were okay, a bit smooth but the skin ruined it for me and it could use butter. My husband ordered the meaty meat pizza and it was pretty good, reminds me of blaze pizza. The crust was crunchy and the pizza as a whole was a good medium score of 6/10. The seasoned fries were amazing probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant. I’d probably stick with the wings or burger next time.

Kia gave us great service tonight. She had an ornate Christmas ornament on top of her head and was rockin’ the look!! This was my first meal in a week since I’d been very ill. I couldn’t believe that I had finished every bite!! That doesn’t even happen on a GOOD day. “Welcome to NC” to their new manager, Ryan. He’s friendly, polite, helpful, personable, and a great asset to this store. Kids might like the fact that he says snow follows him. Maybe there’ll be a few snow days off from school in the near future?? My broccoli moment will forever bond us. Stop in and welcome Ryan to our beautiful NC.

This place is great. The service is on point! Food was amazing. I had the habanero burger with fire fries. Delish!! Wife got the spicy chicken sandwich with seasoned fries. Delish. We got the Jimmy V pizza to go. I highly recommend this place!! Can’t wait to come back.

Pretty good burgers. Fried Shrimp was crunchy and tasty. Service was a little slow but not bad. They seemed to be pretty busy and maybe a little under-staffed . Probably could have used 1 or 2 more waitstaff. The music trivia quiz was great. The disappointment of the evening was dessert. We took Turtle Cheesecake to go. It smelled and tasted smoky and greasy like it sat out in the kitchen next to the fryer or something . It had absorbed the cooking odors from the kitchen. Would have complained but we took it to go . Overall, a good experience.

My partner & I came here Monday night for the first time, soon as we walked in we were acknowledged! The staff was so welcoming to us, everyone seemed pleasant. The atmosphere was phenomenal! The food was amazing, we will definitely be swinging by again soon!
