I’ve been to several of their locations and have always had great service along with fresh, tasty food.
This location—Sand Lake, was no exception. I walked in, was greeted right away, and picked up my online order. It was well past lunch, so the place was pretty empty.
I usually get their tacos and taco salads, and they’re always solid. This time, I decided to switch things up and try some other menu items. I went with the Nashville fries and two burritos. As I was walking out, I noticed it was Taco Tuesday, so of course, I went back in and grabbed a few tacos: two carnitas and one chicken.
The Nashville fries are so good. Crispy chopped chicken, pickles, Nashville hot sauce, and ranch dressing… yeah, they were excellent.
The tacos were great as always. They really pile them up…very generous portions.
Now… the burrito was an absolute disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, the ingredients were tasty, but it was so small that I honestly felt cheated out of my hard-earned money. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t order it again unless the portion size improves.
Customer service was great overall. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated.
All in all, I definitely recommend Bubbakoo’s. But for the love of God, don’t order the burritos.

Place was very clean, staff was friendly. Food was fresh and hot! We got build your own nachos with barbacoa and a Papi Hibachi Burrito. Both were incredible!

We were excited to try Bubbakoo’s Burritos until we almost ordered. The person working said quietly something when we entered and keep working on a order, must of been online order because no one was at the counter. She never said anything to us again, she sould of said I’ll be with you in a moment. But that gave us a chance to look at the choices. The ground beef looked old and crusty. The grilled chicken container was about empty and other containers were empty. The behind the counter were the food was being cooked was dirty looking. We walked out!

Place is under new management. Matt is the new manager and he’s amazing, great customer service. They have breakfast (didn’t know this we stumbled upon it). Got steak with out breakfast bowl which was absolutely amazing! It was like something we got from a hibachi grill. You could taste the delicious flavor, very moist and tender. Also got some cheese curds (secret menu item) that were delicious. We will definitely be back to try out some more items!

Order for pickup at John Young location. Picked up immediately. Food was cold. Asked in the details section of the online order to have sauce and salsa on the side. It wasn’t. $18 for a steak burrito bowl with Guacamole and cheese. $22 and change out the door. Disappointed.

This food is always fresh and tasty. My fav is the taco salad. Everything I’ve ordered exceeds my expectations. the tacos and quessadillas are also delicious. Fresh cilantro and Pico. Variety of sauces. If you like spicy, mango habbanero is It!

I typically don’t make posts like this but this specific Bubbakoos location upset me a lot, we came thinking we were going to get our usual portioned sized food but I just wasted money. I always go to Bubbakoos for their VERY full burritos and I got a 2 bite burrito with missing toppings. I went in to get the missing items added on and I was told it doesn’t come on it, with the menu displaying it right in front of me. The employees were sweet but I just wish they knew how to make the food with care.

This was second time visiting this location. The first time about a week before the food was awesome!! The rice was incredibly seasoned and the veggies were fresh. Although the vegetables were still fresh, nothing tasted seasoned the second time. The rice was bland the meat was lacking taste. The first time I had a burrito and the second time a bowl. Also, the service was still friendly but the young lady at the counter had on gloves but touched the register, her hat, and her pants with the gloves used for making food.

Wow!!! Stopped here for lunch today while my car was getting worked on next door. Food was amazing. I got hibachi steak and shrimp quesadilla and it wa delicious. My fiance had the nachos with hibachi steak and the serving size was pretty much sharable but what made the experience ever better was ESAM, he made sure we enjoy our food and his friendly demeanor made our experience more enjoyable.

Nashville Burrito was so good. Can’t wait to try other items. Chicken had great flavor. The tortilla was super good. All the ingredients felt fresh. Just felt the burrito was a little small. It was packed full though. Just wanted it to come with something on the side or be a little bigger. It was also completely cold by the time it was delivered.
