I LOVE eating here whether it’s take out or dine in. Fresh tasty ingredients, and hefty portions. There are a few set backs to dining in. I always smell like cooked onions after leaving and can smell that on my clothes the rest of the day. Still doesn’t stop me from enjoying the great food just a little bit of a turn off to dining in while the food is still hot and fresh. The service is sometimes spotty too depending on the time of day I pay a visit to Bubba Rita’s but everyone is still polite and helpful. All in all, the food here is amazing and comparable to Chipotle if you like tex mex. I have not had anything too spicy here most everything I have tried is mild compared to the spice level I usually enjoy. One of my all time favorite items to order is the SALSA, oh my goodness, I could drink it from a straw it is so good. And my other favorites are the chicken nachos of course with bubba caviar and corn salsa on top of all the other fresh veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, black beans, pinto beans, rice, queso, shredded cheese…ok I am getting hungry just thinking about it. This is the worst food experience I’ve ever had!
I swear it seems like they had a vendetta against us when we saw the garbage they put in our order.
Tonight, we ordered online at 6:45pm & we ordered 2 bubba bowls, one with steak & one with chicken.
There was ZERO chicken & only 2 tiny slivers of steak.
There were NO shells for the bubba bowls & instead of informing us & asking if we’d like to change our order or not get it, they just dumped it in a foam box.
Both of the bowls were completely inedible.
This is only our 3rd visit to this establishment & 2 out of the 3 visits, we were completely unable to eat & we paid for the food one of those 2 times.
In the first visit, we ordered online but it was 7pm.
When we arrived at the location, we were informed that they didn’t have half of the things we ordered.
The reason…”It’s after 7pm on a Friday night.”
At least we were refunded our money on the first visit.
But, apparently they don’t really stay open to 9pm like it says on Google.
They close around 6pm & shovel the left over garbage into foam bowls until 9pm or whenever they stop.
The second time we ordered here, we were able to eat.
Probably because we ordered as early as we possibly could, at roughly 5pm.
So, we were able to eat, but it took an eternity to get the food & the quality was mediocre at best.
We ordered close to 30 minutes before arriving & then waited another 20+ minutes before getting our food.
Tonight was their last chance with us & we will never go back.
If you go here, you MUST arrive 3-4 hours before the posted closing hours & MAYBE they’ll have the food & maybe they won’t.
Be aware, if they don’t have the food you ordered, you may get leftover garbage dumped in a foam box!
SO CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THIS ESTABLISHMENT!
I’ve included screenshots from the video my daughter took of the “bubba bowls” & it’s fairly obvious there’s no meat & they just dumped cold, leftovers in a box.
The video shows her digging through the mess & you can easily see there’s no meat anywhere.
I’ll be glad to share the video with anyone who doubts the validity.

Went in and told them 2 peppers on my burrito. They loaded my burrito with peppers. Then I went to get my drink and they are out of sweet tea. Went to get a fountain drink and they are out and only putting out water. Food taste good when its made how I say and not burning a hole in my mouth.

Do NOT order food on the app/online! We eat here a lot, food is always great when we dine in or order to go. I’ve ordered off the app 3 times and each time it’s been AWFUL! The quality, portion and presentation is AWFUL! Go in and just watch them make the food or else be disappointed! Also, left off lots of things I wanted (pintos, lettuce, bubba cavier). I have attached photos. I called to let the manager know this problem.
