Visiting Mall of America and stopped for dinner. Our server told us how good the food was and she was right. I never eat seafood away from an ocean so I was skeptical, The coconut shrimp was amazing. My husband had a sample plate and said it was very good as well. The kids had a boil and enjoyed it. Service was good a little slow bringing lemons for the water and missed bringing out my mashed potatoes. Good sized portions. Good music.

I was disappointed with the lack of flavor, lack of communication about the dishes for what I expected. Service was great as everyone was polite, pleasant or at least cordial. The atmosphere is cool and I was glad to see the movie playing. I would not recommend the hush puppies but the chicken sandwiches and fries are very good.

Ordered shrimp po boy. Food was very dry. Bun was supposed to be toasted, but it was simply dry and hard. Shrimp were battered and awfully dry and hard. French fries was very salty.
Waitress added something else to our bill that we didn’t order. We noticed that we were overcharged and had to bring it to her attention.
We will not return to this restaurant in the future.

First time at Bubba Gump Shrimp at Mall of America. The food was good, but the portion was very disappointing. The $45 Boat Trash with Maine Lobster looked like it could serve two people, but it wasn’t even enough for one. We politely shared our feedback with the staff. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the price. Probably our first and last visit. I’d rather go to a steakhouse next time.
PS: We assume they’re still food inside the jar, but nothing, only that on the top

Bubba Gump is always a place my family and I go all around America when on vacation. Food is mainly always good here. My brother loves the Shrimp Po Boy. And I love the Shrimp and Lobster Rolls. Service could have been better though. Our server never asked how we like our steak. Our plates never got cleared off our table when we were waiting for our desert. (Key Lime Pie I highly recommend!) And lastly, when ordering our first REFILL of tea, they said they ran out. Could have said they were almost out. Or did they actually run out? Restrooms could be better too.

The service here can be hit or miss. If we’re lucky, we get a great server, if not, it’s a different story. It tends to get very busy during dinner hours or on weekends, which can make the service slower. Since it’s a chain restaurant, the food is decent but nothing extraordinary. Still, it’s a convenient spot to grab a bite and recharge before exploring more of the mall.

Positive(s): Assa has good customer service even on a Sunday evening when most do not want to be at work I am sure…he services well. The atmosphere is nice and they play zydeco music, baybay! I have not heard zydeco in the Midwest but heard it there and there that was a pleasure to the ears. I like the restaurant style too.
Now the food. OMG! I ordered the feast and then because my baby has yet to try other fish I ordered salmon. The piece of salmon by itself was $14.99 which was a bit steep BUT that’s the only thing that was worth the money. The dish I had tasted like it was cooked in OLD oil. And yes I told the staff I was not pleased with my meal. Now did I eat it, unfortunately the did and will pay for the stomach ache later but by time the manager came to inquire and offer something my food was pretty much done and I did not want to be that “BROWN person” that is trying to get something compensated even though that should have been. People who cook and study culinary know old grease and old food when they taste it. The meal came with hush puppies, fish and chips, fried shrimp and fries. In the photo you will see the fries and I had NOT eaten but one because the fries were at the bottom and when I moved my fish I seen the little amount that will be shown. This was a $50 plus tip spend that I will NOT encourage anyone to waste their money on. The spicy N’Orleans sauce tastes like some thin gravy that was over salted. Spice…no. Maybe it was the cook. Maybe it was a bad night but unless someone sending a free gift card or inviting me on their dime NO TO THE HELL NO I will not waste my hard earned money here again.
They have an area to park your strollers and the host/cleaning tables gentleman seemed aggravated because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my stroller to be tended by door. He literally showed a disgusted look because I said no I was uncomfortable.

I made a reservation at this establishment, and upon arrival, there was no one present at the front podium. However, we were seated promptly. I dined with my little family for lunch, and overall, the experience was positive. Our waitress was friendly and inquired whether we had visited before. Upon learning that it was our first time, she provided an overview of the menu and informed us about their drink specials.
The food was served hot and fresh, which was appreciated. My only critique is that the portion sizes, particularly for the salmon and Mahi Mahi, were somewhat smaller than expected. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this restaurant to those seeking American cuisine with seafood options.

It was wonderful as always. We try to come once a year, due to us being from Northern Iowa. The food was amazing as always. Staff was good; I won’t go into detail, but there’s a clear reason I gave 4 instead of 5, and I’m not a snitch. We had the Shrimper’s Heaven and 1 lb of Cajun peel-and-eat shrimp. It was delicious.
