Our dining experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. was very enjoyable, even with a simple, classic selection of menu items. We ordered steak and shrimp, a fresh salad, and a burger with fries, and everything came out hot, well prepared, and full of flavor. The steak was cooked just right, tender, juicy, and well seasoned, while the shrimp were perfectly cooked and paired nicely with the meal. It felt like a solid, satisfying plate that didn’t try too hard but delivered exactly what you’d want.

I had the most excellent solo birthday lunch at Bubba Gumps thanks to great server/hostess Ahlia! She was warm and welcoming. Listened intently and went above and beyond during my birthday visit. Ahlia made my day and o witnessed her positive interactions with othet guests. She is an example of what great staffing looks like. I hope her employer recognizes what a gem she truly is!

Had the lobster tail with fish shrimp and fries . First time eating my lobster tail fried and I have to say it’s not my preference , the fish and shrimp were good and service was very good. Prices were a bit high but enjoyed the atmosphere of restraunt .

From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. The recommendations for both food and drinks were spot-on — everything from the shrimp to the cocktails was delicious. [Server’s Name] made the whole experience feel personal, and you can tell they really care about giving great service. Went here on a whim and so glad we did. While not cheap, the food was excellent. My wife got Jenny’s Salmon & Shrimp. It was by far the best salmon I’ve ever had. I love steak but I would skip it for this salmon!
I got the Forest Seafood Feast. While it was delicious, I honestly wish I would have gotten the salmon after trying my wife’s.
Dessert was probably the best strawberry shortcake we’ve ever had. The cake was warm, had a crunch on the outside and deliciously warm on the inside with fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream. Would definitely recommend.

This place was super cool! True to the movie Forrest Gump, with tons of pictures & cool plaques that refer to the best scenes in the movie. Food was subpar. Staff was friendly and welcoming when we walked in. Our server Brandon, “B.B.8” was on the ball. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgable and super down to earth. Never made us feel like we were rushing. Worth stopping here for the experience if you’re passing through the area.

We arrived at 6:15 PM on March 8 and were told the wait would be approximately 25–30 minutes, so we added our name to the waitlist. Around 6:55 PM, we still had not received a text, so I went to the hostess stand to ask about our status. The hostess mentioned that she had sent a text, but then realized that it had not actually been sent.
When we were seated, there were still many tables with dirty dishes and leftover food stacked on them. We were also informed that the restaurant was out of fish and chips. The menu we were given also felt dirty.
I ordered gumbo to start, but when it arrived it was cold. While we were sitting outside, there were birds swarming and eating food that had been left on the tables. I also used the restroom during our visit, and unfortunately it was very unclean.Additionally the table next to us received a hair in their food.
Due to the overall experience, we decided to leave. The staff kindly let us know that the gumbo would be taken off the bill. I do want to mention that I felt bad for the staff, as they appeared extremely overwhelmed.

Hostess was unhappy that we wanted to sit in the natural light section. So much so that when she wiped our table down it was dumped onto our seats. Classy. Parking was over $20 for 2 hours. Just park at the beach across the street for $4.85/ hr. Took the server all of 15 minutes to greet us. I guess we’ll have to ask for silverware for me since the hostess only gave for my daughter. it only took a about 7 minutes for my 13 peel and eat shrimp aka half order app of garlic shrimp to come. They came w full veins. Aka poop. Then came my shrimp scampi. Also full w veins. The sauce was simple 90% lemon juice and 10% butter. Mmmm no. And for the price it is a health concern. I’m embarrassed for this place. So embarrassed.

We arrived almost at closing time and there were a lot of us, but we received very good service from our Peruvian waitress. We couldn’t eat on the rooftop because it was closed due to the hurricane. We also couldn’t eat inside since there were a lot of us and we didn’t make a reservation. But if you’re flexible, you can still enjoy the moment. None of this diminished the quality of the service. Personally, I don’t like seafood, but I went with a group, so I recommend the chicken and the chicken with pasta. I recommend that you make a reservation or call to check availability.
