Fun restaurant. We went Saturday night around 7 and it was not very busy. Sadly, the service was a little slow. It took awhile to get our drinks from the bar, our appetizer, and dinners too. The food however was really good! The appetizer we got was the Shrimpers Net Catch. We got the 1/2 pound basket and it had about 15 shrimp to share.

We called early to request a specific table for dinner. Our family has ate at the same table for several years when we visit Daytona Beach. Jake was fun to talk with and greeted us upon arrival. We led him to our table and he handed us off to Maria. Maria was amazing and made our dining experience that much better. Dinner was fantabulous! We learned they use Finest Call Bloody Mary mix so we enjoyed a Bloody Mary before dinner. The shrimp Mac and cheese and hush puppies were the hit of the meal. Maria was attentive, fun, and a pleasure to meet. Thank you Maria and Jake for ensuring another great Bubba Gumps visit!!

Had the Prime rib with grilled shrimp. Steak cooked to perfection. Taste was incredibly delicious. My sister had Bourbon salmon. She loved it. Atmosphere is very unique with all kinds of Forrest Gump decor. Staff very professional, kind and tentative to our needs. Highly recommend this Bubba Gump shrimp location.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.. I’ve eaten here before and always expected a fun atmosphere and good seafood, but this visit was honestly shocking.
Partway through my meal, I found a cockroach in my food. It was clearly on my plate, and it completely ruined my appetite. It made me feel sick and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. That’s something no customer should ever have to experience.
To their credit, once we brought it to the staff’s attention, the manager did step in and comped our entire table’s bill. I do appreciate that effort, and it was the right thing to do. However, while covering the meal was a nice gesture, it doesn’t erase the fact that there was a cockroach in the food in the first place.
I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and addresses whatever sanitation issues led to this happening. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.

We were greeted within about 5 minutes upon entering and requested a table for 5. The inside of the restaurant was hot so we requested to sit outside. Outside was nice and you get the perfect breeze from the ocean. That’s so far the best part. We have been to several BG across the country so expected a nice vibe. Nope not here, the waitress was nice but lacked that BG outgoing personality and was less attentive.
The food, well we can absolutely confirm that looks can be deceiving because the pictures I’m posting were before the first bites. The chicken was decent and the mashed potatoes were real. The two of the 5 in our group ordered shrimp which were two different dishes but the same complete FAIL. The shrimp was way overcooked to the point of being hard and definitely not edible. The fries were cold and the odd part was that the coleslaw was the best part of the shrimp dinners. The plate presentation looked great but the taste not so much. We spent right at $130 and only 2 of the party of 5 ate their food. Out of all our BG experiences this one would undoubtedly be the worst.

Took my brother and his family out for his birthday and the food and environment was great!!! A shout out to our server Maria like no other!!! She very attentive checking up on us and very sweet and quick! Made us feel welcome and even gave us some forest gump trivia questions made our night special. Thank you Maria for going that extra mile never met a server like you and for that we would come again but ask for Maria !!! Great food and great service !!!!

Jake and Cynthia were absolutely amazing!! Cynthia took great care of our needs and was super personable! Jake the manager is a rock star, we have had interactions with him on other occasions!! This is the best Landry restaurant hands down!! We will drive 3 hours just yo eat here. Wish we didn’t have to pay $10 bucks yo park!

NICOLE was incredible! As soon as she welcomed us she had such a wonderful spark to her, then we had the privilege to have Nicole as our waitress and she was very charismatic. She even played a forest gump trivia with my family, (it was cute).
