BEST FOOD! The smash burger, lemon pepper wings, onion rings, fries, THE RANCH, & THE BANANA PUDDING. Amazing service, warm hospitality. The best bbq place. 100% recommend coming here!!!! (We ate all the food in 11 minutes)

Have been frequenting this establishment off and on for several years now. The last time I visited I’ve been witness to troubling incidents. Recently on a Friday afternoon I overheard someone who appears to be the manager unnecessarily reprimand a server in front of myself and numerous guests. This same server had waited on our table and had done an amazing job. Meredith had gone above and beyond for us while obviously managing multiple other tables and one large party. She was gracious and articulate the whole time despite us witnessing her manager walk up and loudly and angrily inform her she “had food to bring out”. Obviously Meredith was very busy and it took him more time to come into her area and bark commands than it would have for him to bring food out himself. The food itself was mediocre that day but to see such a kind lady treated aggressively in front of her customers was very uncomfortable. The other server was openly on his phone at the front desk area so obviously this is acceptable for some but not others.
Seeing hardworking employees treated in this way is enough to keep me from returning. My wife later heard him tell her he would take away her scheduled hours as a result of such an insignificant incident.
No matter how good food may be, we will not support a restaurant that doesn’t recognize, support or reward employees like Meredith who frankly, should be somewhere else where superior service, grace and calm under pressure is valued.

My wife and I used to love having Wing Wednesday here. Over the years, the consistency and quality have declined. Out of 30 wings, about 70% were edible. We had about 4 “wing feathers” without a bit of meat on them. The other wings, if you like chicken jerky, then you might not be disappointed, but my ruling is that the batch I tried to eat cooked 2 or 3 days prior, then was reheated. The mustard wings are great for those who crave a bottle of Plochmans. The medium lemon pepper wings are very salty, but if you can get past that, they do have a sweet/tangy/spicy flavor blend. The naked/dry rubbed wings were the best of the 3. We’re sad to say goodbye to Bub-ba-q, but they just keep disappointing. This is the 4th time in the past 4 months that our order was unsatisfactory. I wish them all the best in the future. They need to focus on finding their former glory.

I have tried it before and now today. I want to like this place but the Brunswick is way too sweet. Sweet potato fries are just that (no seasoning) collards lack flavor and were not cooked enough. Brisket has a lot of fat on it. Flavor is there just not executed

Found this joint on Google Maps and it was the only BBQ near our hotel so we gave it a shot. The brisket was sliced a little thin for me but it had good Smokey flavor and was not dry. The collards were perfect with no grit and no stringy stalks. The green beans we good but could use a little something like ham or bacon and some salt and pepper. The smoked chicken dark meat 1/4 lacked any spice and was a little dry while at the same time falling off the bone and having good smokey flavor. Our server, Layla, was cheerful and helpful and made us feel right at home. I would come again.

We ate here for dinner on a Thursday evening with the kids. Kayla was our server and she was great. Very acertive and checked on us regularly. The food came our in a decent time. Got a pork BBQ plate with Brunswick stew and corn fritters. The kids got BBQ sandwiches and chicken tenders with mac-n-cheese and Cole slaw.
The BBQ was delicious. They have multiple BBQ sauce options. I used the sweet one. The Brunswick stew used to better than it was today. Not sure what was off but it wsnt that good today. The corn fritters were good. The kids really liked their dishes. The mac-n-cheese was dry. The cole slaw tasted fresh, but prefer a sweet cole slaw. We did get a side of onion rings and they were great.

This place has absolutely the best wings in Woodstock, they’re smoked and then fried to finish them off and they fall off the bone. Definitely check out their $0.50 wing Wednesdays for dine in, for takeout they’re $0.65. Also try the bacon-wrapped jalapenos, theyre awesome.
Miguel always goes above and beyond with his service, whether he’s serving our table or helping with our takeout order. He always has a smile and a positive attitude, and just makes us feel so welcome. He’s the main reason we keep coming back!!

So sad to write this, but the quality of food has decreased tremendously. We used to go here all the time- but as the experience of each visit deteriorated we rarely go. Today was one of the rare occasions we gave it another try. We were initially sat at a table that was visibly filthy. We ended up re-seating ourselves since the hostess walked away too quickly. Our server was very pleasant brought drinks quickly. The food order was correct however 3 of our 4 orders came room temperature or cold. We sent them back. The second round, while hot, was terribly dry and flavorless. Even my teenage boy, a living garbage disposal for food, wouldn’t eat his pork. The buttered toast tasted like it was flavored with chemical butter spray. Nothing seemed fresh. There’s just no more love in the food. The owner seems to have abandoned their roots of juicy flavorful BBQ and I do hope the owner reads this. Our community is small and we love to support the small businesses here. If I owned the place, I’d want to know- there’s too many good food options in Woodstock. I’d hate for them to close.
