I just ordered from here and I’m shocked! The portions of the panang is great! Even the free white rice is bigger! The chicken is tender and properly cut into nice pieces! I’ll be getting my Thai food from here every time now!

I had tofu wraps and tofu coconut tom yum soup. I rarely order soup as I’m not a soup guy but feeling under the weather it was the perfect choice. It was surprisingly flavorful and the portions were generous. I ordered a 7 in spice but it wasn’t all that spicy – maybe a 5? That said it was anything but bland. The wraps are seemingly huge, but they consist mainly of lettuce which isn’t a knock on them – just that they will surprisingly fit into your belly.

The pricing here was a bit high but the quality was 5/5. The environment may not be particularly unique is very clean and important to me – quiet. Staff was nice.

I think it’s one of the better Thai places I have been to in Tacoma area.

Authentic family run Thai food. Courteous and polite service. Clean dining room. Sufficient menu choices.
Spicy level from 1-10. As a spicy eater, I chose 4 and it was just right.
Coconut Tom Yum soup tasted really good. Just like how it should be.
Price is a bit steep when compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. This is where the -1 star (from full score) lands.

Have been a loyal customer for 5 years to BT Thai but this year the food quality has gone down and the prices have increased astronomically. I understand inflation but my favorite vegetarian tom yum soup (no tofu, just VEGETABLES is 25?!) The same price if I were to get with protein! It is not enough to satisfy two people, small single serving of stale rice. Not enough for two people. So disappointed that I will no longer be coming back after many years as a patron.

Sorry, what I ate was NOT pad Thai. First, the wait was way too long for the food they made. Second, why was my pad Thai BRIGHT red?! And the noodles were 100% not the right noodles. Third, I got spicy level 2 on all 3 orders. And they all tasted like a 5. Awful first experience at BT Thai restaurant. Super disappointed. Waste of $60 for 3 meals (included a very generous tip since it was to go.) Better go to Royal Thai in Tacoma. That place is the best!

First time trying this place with a to go order and I’m so glad I did. I got Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Red Curry, and Scallop Wontons. My FAVORITE was the Pad Thai and I order peanut sauce that I added on top. I am definitely going back.

Tiny little strip mall restaurant with only 6 tables, but authentic excellent Thai food. Lots of take out and delivery pick ups going out the door.

So I hate doing for two reasons . 1. I’ve worked in restaurants and understand getting a bad review and 2. We have really enjoyed getting take out from here for the last two years. Tonight I tried getting something different again and I saw they had orange chicken on the menu. Orange chicken isn’t anything new to me and I figured because this place is pretty good I think their orange chicken has got to be good. Wrong. What I got was pre frozen chicken nuggets drowned in sauce. Chicken nuggets for almost $20 . $18.95 to be exact. Now I understand with the last few years prices have gone up and businesses especially small businesses have had to adjust. But I’m gonna be a karen here and say this is ridiculous

Always a great experience when ordering here!! I have a severe onion allergy & they always ensure that there’s no cross contamination. Super friendly employees & delicious food. This is our automatic go to for take out, even before the pandemic. Literally the best Thai food around & we literally have tried all the local Thai restaurants, none compare to BT Thai!!!
