This restaurant is a great place to grab some bar food at happy hour, or something more substantial when dining with a party. They have excellent starters like gambas al ajillo and sliders, along with drinks for happy hour. For the mains, you have options like chicken and even steak. Their churrasco is very good, cooked perfectly juicy and toothsome. It comes with a strong chimichurri and the yucca fries are crisp.
The interior of the restaurant is dim and the bar is upfront with dining seating in the back. Staff are super friendly and the bartender is excellent!

Bstro 38 is located in a street of Manhattan that is not one of the nicer looking. Haven said that food was delicious, beautifully presented and impecable service….also prices were reasonable for the quality, size and presentation!

This was the best meal I had traveling this year. The pork osso buco was unforgettable. My wife’s meal was incredible as well. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We got to chop it up with the owner for a bit, and even got to talk about our meal with the chef. Amazing experience.

This was a wonderful discovery during our visit to New York. The staff was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks during our visit. The Dips included hummus, tzatziki, and goat cheese red pepper with warm pita. All three of them were outstanding. We ordered more pita so we could keep enjoying the dips. The Scallops were well seasoned, presented beautifully, and so tender. The chicken skewers were a great choice as well. We thought about ordering more dishes because we knew they would be excellent, but we were too full. It was refreshing to be ‘hosted’ by their full staff in an otherwise busy town that often treats you like just another tourist.

I was dining at bistro last Thursday. I was pressed for time. I sat at bar and was greeted by the bartender Danny and the mngr Abbas. They were both so welcoming. I ordered the short rib platter. It was amazing. Better than any steak house I ever ate in. I finished up with churros and coffee. Great meal. I will be back.

Had a fantastic experience at Bistro 38. The mussels Fra Diavolo were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce that truly stood out. The gambas and calamari were also excellent, fresh, and beautifully prepared. On top of that, Kistyn’s service was flawless: attentive, warm, and professional without being intrusive. Everything came together perfectly. Will definitely visit again.

My sister and I had lunch at B|STRO 38 last month, and it was an opulent experience . We entered the restaurant and were seated immediately. The waiter was super friendly and offered his recommendations for the day. In a busy world, B|STRO’s atmosphere offered an escape from the hustle and bustle, even if for an hour. We ordered the Roasted Beet Salad with the Grilled Shrimp + coconut skewers and a B|STRO Burger with soda. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasteful. I will definitely re-visit this restaurant again.
