“BSG” stands for Be Someone Good, and this Cornelia coffee shop absolutely lives up to the name. Family-owned and operated, the café is warm, cozy, and welcoming, making it sweet for first dates, business meetings, family shenanigans, or a solo coffee run. BSG does an incredible job capturing Cornelia’s heartbeat and unique charm.
The coffee is outstanding. They’ve got a solid variety of blends and single-origin offerings. It’s easily the best cup of joe in town. Housed in a historic building just steps from Cornelia’s iconic Big Red Apple, the coffee shop also sells local goods and art, which is cool!
Order the snickerdoodle chai latte or the caramel brulee latte, and don’t sleep on Cornelia’s favorite: the Salted Stag (salted caramel with salted caramel cold foam). The food is delicious, too. Start with the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich or Erin’s chicken salad. Cheers to good people and great coffee.

BSG Coffee is hands down the cutest coffee shop in Cornelia. The vibes were 10/10 and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My bar for coffee is usually pretty high since I live in Charleston, but this place absolutely delivered.
I ordered a turkey jam sandwich on sourdough and a half-caf iced Americano and both were perfect for a mid-drive stop. The girl who took my order was so kind and cool, and the whole place had this relaxed, community feel, customers chatting and everyone just being really friendly.
I honestly would have never known this gem existed if it hadn’t popped up as a recommended stop on my drive from Lake Lanier to Lake Hartwell, but now it’s officially going to be a regular stop anytime I make that drive.
They also have local artists’ work for sale which was such a nice touch… jewelry, car fresheners, ceramic mugs, and more. I even picked up a bag of their beans (a blonde espresso blend from Guatemala and Brazil) that I can’t wait to surprise my boyfriend with.
10/10 recommend if you’re anywhere nearby or passing through. A true little hidden gem.

Perfect! I had two hours to wait for someone and found this coffee shop. Had a latte and a blueberry cheese danish. The food was great. The service was excellent. (They brought me my food and remembered my name) I sat in a comfy chair and listened to quiet music while I did some work. Highly recommend!

Not only is the atmosphere laid back and chill but The customer service was exponential. The food and the wide variety of the menu was impressive. My husband had the creme brulee and I had the yellow jacket latte. Some of the best tasting coffee we’ve ever had.
The avocado toast and the broccoli and cheese quiche were so delicious. The person working brought everything to us while we were sitting at a table. You won’t regret stopping in here for a treat.

There’s a couch area in the front, a large community tables in the middle and lots of other nooks throughout to sit. They have chess and other games you can use while relaxing along with great music playing.
You can also sit and work peacefully there.

Very cool older building nice atmosphere. Big space with plenty of seating. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant. The owner, Zack, was present as well and was also pleasant and engaging. Don’t start a conversation with him unless you have time, you will not get out quickly. My wife and I chatted with him for a really long time. We learned quite a bit about the town and coffee. Challenge Zack to a chess game, if you win, you get free coffee. Be forewarned, he has an 800 rating.
Our coffee was very good and my wife got a chicken salad croissant which she liked. We will return when we are again passing through.
Edit: While there, we bought a bag of Magic Brew Bus which we tried once we got home, Rochester, NY. After making our first pot, we liked it so much, we ordered 4 more bags on the website. This may become our new “go to” replacing the Kona we have been drinking for years.

This is MY FAV spot! I’m a regular customer here, always has great service, food, drinks, and vibes. The owner Zach is always hands on, as well as kind. There’s so much to love about this place from the games, to sitting areas, fun food and drink items. They host great things here, there’s always a buzz. It’s the new hangout place to be in town!

It’s spacious, cozy, the Strawbean matcha was delicious, and the owner was welcoming and friendly! Seems like a great company run by genuine people who care about their customers. Stopped here on a whim traveling through and was amazed by the expertise in this place. I love how they sell their coffee beans fresh with neat bags with a one way breather to keep them fresh and it tells you the country origin! The coffee latte is just right and made professionally with recent roasting. The owner Zach knows what he’s doing 100%! They are also very helpful on all the specific coffee questions I had! Brian served me and was also really knowledgeable and had a really nice conversation with him! I love coming to coffee shops as good as this one and this place deserves a great review!
