Great place for lunch . Fabulous waitress!! Really good food – located in an unassuming VFW building. Hidden gem!! Nothing fancy, but well worth the stop Definitely would eat here again when in town (Clinton Illinois). Near Clinton Lake. On the west side of town, just off I-72. Had the French Dip sandwich – DELICIOUS!!

May not look like much from the outside, but don’t let this hidden gem fool you!! Amazing food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and the staff is amazing as well!! I just moved to Clinton from Chicago, over 2 hours away, literally knowing nothing about this town or area aside from my address lol… and after helping me move, my family wanted to take me to lunch before returning to Chicago, and relying on Google, we picked B’s due to the high ratings and rave reviews… they did NOT disappoint!! We have a thing where we order specific things from every new place we go to that are our favorites, and we’re kinda picky lol, but the 5 of us absolutely LOVED our food!! The waitress was also awesome, and after learning I was new to Clinton, she took the time to fill us in on the area, all of the must hit places etc. It was very helpful and much appreciated!! The fact that it’s walking distance from my house is an added bonus… I will definitely be a future “regular” for sure!!!

Service was great and prices aren’t bad but the food is mediocre at best. We didn’t have a special so maybe those are great but off the menu is kinda blah. We used to go to the Wishbone every time we were in Clinton and we were hoping this was similar but it was not.

I had a double cheeseburger with fries. The burger was very tasty and well cooked. Their was a generous portion of crinkle cut fries. Staff were all friendly. It’s not hot in there and it doesn’t stink like Snappers downtown. Planning on more frequent visits.

Stopped for a quick bite to catch up with a friend I hadn’t seen in ages. Owners were really welcoming, and the service was fantastic. They chatted us up and made recommendations on popular menu items. I was surprised there was a table open for us. Delicious appetizers, we shared the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. The bartender made excellent drinks! Will be back again for sure.

No one was in the dining area when we entered. I ordered coffee – never got it. “Homemade pizza sauce” tasted like it was straight out of a can. Server mixed up our bill with the next table- about half of what it should have been. To her credit, she was going to pay the difference out of her own pocket. I had her ring the second item up separately.
The back door was open and there were several flies visiting us. Although I am from out of town, I would go there on our next time here.

45 mins to get our food (2 of us) husband said his food was ok. My omelet was not cooked all the way…runny. Told the waitress and she never even offered to make it right or discount our bill.
