A top notch breakfast spot. Impeccable service! I enjoyed a hot coffee within moments of being seated. My food came out with steam and arrived within 10 minutes after I ordered. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the prices are fair.

Not to mention the decor and the garnishes. I love an extra touch.

The sandwich was a little bland, same deal with the scallion pancake – the pork belly has a sweet and tangy sauce which had flavor. Presentation was beautiful, service was quick & friendly. I would choose other meals next time. Hot chocolate was not as sweet as I would’ve liked but it made it easier to finish the drink.

Everything you would want in a brunch spot. The menu was full of great options, but I went simple with eggs, bacon, and potatoes that came with toast and jam. Nothing fancy, just hearty and satisfying. My friends ordered the biscuits and gravy, and the portion size was huge. I would suggest sharing if you are not super hungry. The coffee was perfect with plenty of refills to wake you up from the dead. Overall, nothing overly memorable, just a solid and delicious breakfast that hit the spot.

This restaurant is amazing! So glad I decided to dine here for a birthday brunch. The service was spectacular and added to a special day. Staff was all very friendly and accommodating even with how busy the restaurant was. This was greatly appreciated.

Highlights of the menu include the chilaquiles verdes, chorizo skillet, and steak skillet. The chilaquiles were amazing, and I loved the combination of plantain, rice, tortilla, and salsa. The food was also served exceptionally fast which was appreciated. Our dining experience wasn’t rushed, but our server was very attentive and kind. I will absolutely be back!

We went here before a concert at Northeastern Illinois University campus. It’s a trendy place, so there was a wait.
There are benches outside. Inside is decorated, cluttered, and cute. The kitchen and servers seemed overwhelmed. The food was okay but not served hot. It’s pretty expensive. I am glad we went and I would go again. I appreciate that these young creative people are trying to make a go of the restaurant business and I would like to support them. The coffee was very good, but also not really hot. Next time, I will get coffee and something very simple like a roll or soup. It would be fun to eat in the outdoor patio when that is open. I think people go here because it is trendy and a place to see and be seen. It excelled at that. You can feel the Creative Energy in the air.

The food is okay. The chorizo skillet is very 1 dimensional flavor-wise and mushy. The french toast was below average. The crab cake Benedict was terrible. The crab cake was super wet, mushy bread, hollandaise sauce tasted weird. Prices are beyond expensive for the taste.

Every time I visit this place, my expectations are exceeded. The service is always great and the food is always impeccable. Today we enjoyed a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and pancakes. Our server Jamie was very nice, polite and fast. Mario showed me how the fresh squeezed orange juice machine works and I was speechless. I even got to try some of the orange juice… Delicious. I’ll will come back or recommend this place a thousand times.
