Okay I have officially found a new favorite cider place. Unfortunately it’s 2.5 hours from where I live so I probably won’t get there very often. Very impressed with this place as they had 12 different ciders on tap. Luckily it was 12 as we could do two flights of 6 and try them all. There are some very interesting flavors available. Including cider that has been aged in bourbon barrels and some extremely spicy cider. They actually have a cider spiced with chocolate ghost pepper and one with raspberry, black cherry, and carolina reaper. We make our own pepper sauce out of habaneros and the carolina reaper flavored was extremely spicy even for us. Overall I’d say the person flavoring this cider is extremely good and our favorites were a mint peach and a lemon tart. They’re set up right beside an apple orchard in a pretty neat converted barn. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and they do have some substantial munchies on the weekends. Last, but not least, the Llamas in the field just beside the cidery are pretty awesome to look at.

During a weekend getaway at Roseland, my friends and I had the pleasure of trying out several cideries & breweries. This one was the closest to the Airbnb, and honestly, it had some of the BEST drinks! Their cider flavors are unique, and there are A LOT of them! Not to mention, the owner was very friendly! The outdoor area was vast and beautiful. I will definitely visit again when back in the area. Get a flight and try as many flavors as you can!

Loved everything about Bryant’s! Tucked on Nelson’s 151 Route, their ciders and beer were both great. Dry cider with lots of variety. Beautiful grounds, featuring a historic Virginia Century Farm. Lots of space to hang out and relax! And very friendly service 🙂

What a great addition to the 151 brewery/distillery/cidery community! Visited for the first time the other day and had a wonderful experience. Tucked away about a half mile off Route 151 in an old barn you will find deliciousness. All their ciders are dry and they have an amazing peach seltzer that hit the spot for me. The atmosphere is a true slice of Virginia complimented by a wonderful staff. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to sit and have a cold tasty dry cider or seltzer I highly recommend Bryant’s. Not to mention, they just added an outdoor stage so be on the lookout for live music. Cheers and safe travels!

Cider’s been a new thing for my better half and me since moving to Central VA. We’ve driven by Bryant’s a host of times. On Saturday, I made a solo journey out because my honey had a book club gathering. Glad I did.
There was music, but best of all, I got to try my first dry Virginia cider. It’s way less sweet than some of the “bigger” cideries in the area. But dry doesn’t mean, less viable. In fact, I really dug the dryness, plus there were a couple of sweeter varieties. The Apple Pie was enjoyable with about half the sugar of the sweet ciders that many seem to like. I do not.
I enjoyed their Dark Unicorn, which is bourbon barrel-aged and really enjoyable. Oh, the Punkin Spice was a nice fall variety.
The rustic barn setting of the tasting room makes for a more comfortable setting when the weather’s cold and outside just won’t work.
Great staff that makes you feel welcome on your first visit.
Will definitely be back.

I love getting to come hang out at Bryant’s! It’s such a beautiful space with awesome people behind the bar! I have made so many friends there from patrons to the staff. It’s such a laodback atmosphere and there’s something for everyone. With the disc golf course, live music, yoga, festivals, Nintendo, big checkers, big chess, there’s so much fun for everyone.
You can also get great canned salsas, jams, etc. I’m a part of the Cider club and love it! They have their staple ciders that then translate into fantastic seasonal offerings. They had a ghost pepper brew for awhile! They offer beer they brew and also kombucha. There is soda and food too. I’m a fan of the grilled . It’s a great place to be and hang out. There is also limited if any cell service which is awesome for a nice day away and there’s so much to do and cool people, you don’t miss it.

Visiting from Georgia, we will be back. Phenomenal Service from Amber. She went above and beyond to cater to us. They offer board games, blankets, warm fires, and so much more. The atmosphere is spectacular, really embodies local farm brewed beer. Food options are a little limited, but you are there to drink.
Beer options are predominantly semi-dry to dry which was not bad thing. Flavors are prominent and lip smacking.

This is a few miles past Devil’s Backbone and it was the prettiest part of our drive. Service was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our drinks in outside area with plenty of seating. And who doesn’t love a cool old barn tasting room?! We left with cider, fresh apple butter and apple butter BBQ sauce.
