Social Profile:

BRYAN PLACE HISTORY Bryan Place is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, built in 1926. It once housed young women and provided them with recreational and social activities. Carol Bryan bought the building and with some updates and renovations, it offers a restaurant on the first floor and a furniture gallery on the second and third floor. Bryan Place also offers, private parties, comedy clubs, fund raisers, weddings, celebrations of life and catering. Locally owned and operated. Stopped for lunch with the kids as we were driving though town on a Friday afternoon. We decided to skip a fast food place and try this based on the yelp reviews. Such a great decision!

We have been to 3 Thanksgiving dinners here. My husband and my parents. The first was descent. Well enough to come back, anyway.
Last year, I thought, was not very good, but the others still thought it was worth another try… This year was awful, and the word must be getting around because there’s always a crowd waiting out the door and down the sidewalk. This year, no wait, and the place was half full at 1:30. The dressing tasted totally “off” with a very chemical taste, as if they had a bunch of old, bad quality bread cubes from last year that had rancid seed oils gone even more rancid…just awful. Canned, unseasoned vegetables. The choices were few. Even the turkey tasted weird. I can’t say any of the meal was worth eating. The dessert was ok.We definitely won’t be back. We were all disappointed. Not a good Thanksgiving at all. Judging by the crowd, many others had already decided the same.

Went for thanksgiving buffet. Food not very good. Green beans were cold. Other hot foods barely warm. Surprised ham was served cold. Price way too high compared to food offered. Had barely any service from waitress except initial water and at payment time. Had to go get my own refill on water just to have a drink with my meal. First and last time eating there.

Great brunch spot! Perfectly priced with a fantastic selection of meats and side dishes including delicious deserts! The service was prompt and the atmosphere could not be more elegant and relaxing. Highly recommend brunch or lunch here! Perfect place for any special occasion!

Nice vintage place. Pretty decor. Peaceful atmosphere. We went on a Sunday brunch. Food is good. The chef who makes omelets and pancakes is very nice and friendly. Baked chicken with mashed potato and cakes/pies are too good there.

Bryan Place has good food and fair prices. However, the best part is the 3 floors of this massive building open to explore. The history of the building and the owner was cool to hear while we ate from the buffet and made to order omelet bar!

We had our 50 year class reunion there with about 180 people in the big room. It was a little tight , but not too bad. We had appetizers as our food for the night. They were good. The wait help were on top of things and did a nice job.

Truly some of the most spectacular food I have ever eaten. I ate at the brunch buffet for Mother’s Day and I was very impressed. Everything was fresh and made in house. The broccoli salad, potato salad were both delicious. The ham was smoked and cooked excellently as well as the chicken. All of the cakes and pies were spectacular.

Cannot recommend this place enough c the buffet is also reasonably priced at 30 per person.

We enjoyed a most pleasant brunch and a delightful environment. The brunch was extensive and delicious. Offerings included personally made omelettes, pancakes, hashbrowns, bacon, and cinnamon rolls. For those not wanting breakfast or who want lunch as well as breakfast one can enjoy a salad bar, lasagna, corn and beans, chicken with dressing, mashed potatoes, and pork. There are extensive dessert offerings as well as fresh fruit. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
Highly recommend this delicious brunch at a more than reasonable cost.

Tried to get lunch here today and was told they are only open for Brunch and special events. Appeared to also have furniture for sale in the lobby. Beautiful structure hopefully they return to normal service soon.
