Bruxie is not necessarily a hole in the wall, but it’s an underrated gem for sure! All the food was delicious, the coffee – some of the best I’ve had in recent memory & brought to us by the kind & warm woman at the till. The atmosphere is chill and the wait was nonexistent (granted we sat down at 3:30pm). If you’re looking for some mean burgers at a reasonable price, definitely pay a visit 🙂

Food is good. Nice atmosphere esp being in the shopping center. It’s a bit pricey but it’s Santa Barbara so it’s expected. The chicken is fried to almost perfection. I would call this elevated chicken and waffles unlike the famous one in LA that’s taste like it’s homemade and everyone loves it. All and all I would come back. PARKING can be a bit of an issue if you don’t use the parking garage

To my fellow black people do not be fooled just because it’s a combination of chicken and waffles this is NOT soul food. The chicken was actually really good, juicy, well seasoned and flavorful but the waffle was so sad. I love waffles but everything I love about them the bruxie waffle lacked. It was savory and flaky. It tasted like a plain bland biscuit in the shape of a waffle. It didn’t come with butter or syrup just coleslaw. Was not what I was expecting. If you want soul food chicken and waffles, it’s roscoes for me.

This place is very interesting, if you like fried chicken or chicken that is super high quality I highly recommend this place, it is fantastic! Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. It seems to be family ran and the staff is extremely nice.
They offered my puppy a pup cup without question and were just happy to have me eating there. Seems to be the spot to go for a solid piece of chicken!

The salads are entirely coated in dressing. Get dressing on the side, or don’t get their salads at all.
Buffalo Mac and cheese is also super sauced up. Y’all gotta chill out on the dressing/sauces. Would be a 10/10 that way.

Hot honey chicken sandwich was pretty good but have had better. Fries were not great, must have been over cooked or something cuz they were really hard not just crispy. Pumpkin coffee was ok. Little pricier than I was expecting

This establishment embodies all things American and showcases the beauty that’s within the state of California. Y’all brought back the taste of freedom that has slowly diminished in society through mediocre food places, and I am so happy to have had this sandwich today.

We had an excellent family lunch. The fried chicken is fantastic, the best we’ve tried in the area. Additionally, the girls who serve are very friendly. They gave us a balloon for the child, which made him very happy. The prices are reasonable. Without a doubt, we will return.

Chicken is good quality and fresh but the seasoning needs so much work. I got the original seasoning to give this place a true test. The sheer amount of salt over powers any other flavor that might be there. There are much better options for fried chicken. Also $4 for just a chicken strip is a little pricy but honestly not terrible if they fix the seasoning.
