My husband and I went to this location for the first time tonight and will not be going back. I ordered two scoops of chocolate chip cookies dough. The first ice cream just tasted like plain vanilla or soft serve. When I got to the second scoop, it was better I tasted a few pieces of cookie dough and that was it. Will not be going back. We did not want to go back thru the drive thru lane bc it was really busy.

We stopped in after our families night out. The ladies inside were friendly and attentive. We got several different ice creams that didn’t disappoint. The quality of this location is noted as the best in the area to me. The parking lot has plenty of parking, and is sectioned off with seating areas in a well lit area.

The oatmilk ice cream used to be so amazing and creamy, but over the last year or so it has become more of an italian ice consistency and has been lacking of flavor. I don’t know if they changed the recipe or oatmilk used but unfortunately it’s no longer my dairy free ice cream of choice

There seems to not be any consistency in their ice cream preparation. I once had the black cherry chocolate chunk ice cream and it was loaded with chocolate and cherries. But the next time I ordered it there were some chocolate chunks and only one cherry. Tonight I got their black cherry ice cream. It was very delicious and loaded with black cherries. That’s what I expect when I pay for a premium ice cream cone.

Our favorite ice cream shop near the house! Employees are really great and helpful, special flavors mixed daily, and great selection. Lots of fun incentives such as rewards club, our dogs love the free pup Sundaes (vanilla and biscuit), free cones for young kids, and BYOB bring your own banana Thursday ice cream splits 50% off. Definitely give a try to their custom flavors for a great surprise. Huge portion sizes too so be prepared with appetite and sweet tooth.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream is the only ice cream chain around the upstate that has a daily evolving selection of Non-Dairy Ice Cream other than sorbet to cater to their dairy-free, lactose-free, and vegan customers in addition to their regular Ice cream menu. Their competitors only have sorbet or one flavor plant-based Ice cream all the time.
The fact that they handmake all their Ice cream in house everyday and change up the flavors too is a unique business model that I’ve only seen one other time in a different American region.

This was my first visit and it was great! I ordered the warm apple dumpling sundae and it was amazing. There are several windows to order from so it’s a bit confusing to know which one to go to. I just walked up where there was another customer ordering.

I ordered a medium waffle and was shocked by the size. They should tell you how much is a small, medium and large. I had to throw 1/4 of it away. Very good ice cream.
