Bruster’s is a great place to get ice cream. In general all of their locations I’ve been to have been amazing and are great with their ice cream and customer service. But, this location in Mechanicsville is amazing. They’re always on time with online orders and in person orders, the owner/employees of the location are very nice, the ice cream is always good and presentable when given to us, and the service is always fast. I would recommend stopping by to grab a cup to go or even to sit and eat!

After this visit, I will most likely not return to this location. I came to this location since it was the closest to get the Apple Dumpling. I love this dessert. I have had it many times in the past. After getting it from this location, and attempting to eat it. I was disappointed. My apple was not completely warm. My apple was not soft like I experienced the day before from another location. My plastic spoon was bending as I was trying to eat it. That has never happened to me before when eating the Apple Dumpling. The scoops of ice cream were small. The scoops of ice cream for my whole order that day were small. I ordered two scoops of ice cream in a waffle bowel for my daughter. I have not been to this location in a while but I don’t remember this location being like this in the past. I will say the Freeze that I purchased for my other daughter. She said it was good. I have been going to Bruster’s for years now. I have went to many locations and I never felt this disappointed after leaving a Bruster’s location. Has ownership changed? I’m used to seeing teens working there and the atmosphere was different.
I will continue to drive a little further to a different location to have a full enjoyable experience.

I love this Bruster’s location. The ice cream is excellent, and the flavor selection is exceptional. The Dubai Chocolate flavor is magical. I highly recommend this location. The ownership is as good as it gets, and the ice cream is always delicious. Thank you!

I have been to a few Bruster’s locations, and this one is my favorite! The Indian flavors are incredible! I was exposed to flavors I haven’t had or even heard of before, and they were delicious! Highly recommend!

Great place to get ice cream. Large Selection and Tasty Treats. Tried one of their Apple Dumplings, and it was delicious! Nice warm pastry with the cool ice cream. What a great combination. They do have a drive thru. Many of their locations don’t, so it’s a bonus. We’ve been coming here for years, especially after our kids’ doctors appointment to get a treat.

Loved loved loved the ice cream! Stopped by after a pool day with the family and sat outside to enjoy our sweet treat! The server was so NICE! It was my first time there, the kids were excited & I had questions. He was patient and super attentive. There are tables under a tree near the parking lot which allowed us to eat the ice cream before getting back in the car.

Brewster’s is always a treat for the whole family! Their ice cream tastes so fresh, and they have so many flavors it’s hard to choose. My boys love coming here after school or after a long day helping at the shop. The staff is super friendly and patient, and the outdoor seating makes it a great place to relax together. As a small business owner nearby, I really appreciate the fun atmosphere and consistent quality they bring to our community!
