What can I say about Brush Creek BBQ and Catfish, except awesome experience! My family and friends were driving through and we were trying to find somewhere to eat and we found this restaurant on the maps. When we arrived we were surprised when we saw that it was a Cowboy Church also in the same building, they also have batting cages in the back of the building that you can watch and eat from the restaurant.
Well we were greeted and sat down to our table and we had such wonderful service from the time we entered to the time we left. Usually after you pay no one comes around and asks you if you need anything else but this staff here does come and take that extra step which is super rare but it makes you feel better and wanting to come back more often.
Well now let’s talk about the FOOD! They have some of the best fried catfish I have tasted in years and I am picky about my food I also had ribs and they were some of the best I have had in a long time and it also came with fried okra and I ate all of that also since it was so good. My wife enjoyed her coconut shrimp and catfish also, our friends had pretty much the same as us and we were all so pleased with our service and food.
This place is a must GO to experience great service and great food and maybe get a little Salvation or Baptism and if not that maybe hit a few baseballs and have great food while you have a little fun!!

I had the three meat dinner plate with brisket, ribs, and hot links. Don’t judge me. I had left overs. The brisket was so tender and juicy it blew me away. It was one of the best I ever had and can’t wait to take my dad here to try it. My husbands catfish was so bomb. Perfect breading to fish ratio according to him. I love the green beans because they were so fresh and delish. The waitress was very attentive, and nice. The hostess was fun and very nice as well. Brush Creek BBQ blows KTs BBQ out of the water! I can’t wait to eat here again. FYI: MY leftovers were even better the next day.

We stopped here while working down in Newcastle. It felt like a roll of the dice, but we were very surprised at the quality of the food and the hospitality of the staff. The woman at the counter taking our orders knew the menu well and she had a very nice southern charm to her.
I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and fried okra. I put a little bit of their Ghost pepper sauce on my sandwich and it was awesome! The sauce didn’t overpower the meat and the okra was probably the best I’ve had. Nice touch with the coarse salt on the outside! The brisket was tender with a very nice bark – great flavor.
My only regret was not trying a piece of their homeade pie!
Restrooms were very clean too!

Visited last evening for the first time. Clean was the first thing I noticed before catching the smoke aroma. Food was very good and the portion size dictated the need for a to go box. Prices were reasonable and the server was attentive and friendly. Oak smoked meats were tender, moist, and delicious, plus the BBQ sauces highlighted the meat flavor rather than masking it. Will definitely return.

We had 40+ people and Sherri made sure they had tables ready for us with dedicated servers. And, this was on a day’s notice and the tail end of some bad weather with still questionable driving conditions.
All of the staff was super friendly and took great care of our large group. Food was great too as I heard many compliments about different dishes ordered. Will definitely be back!

Really great food!!! We chose the Brush Creek sampler and we were not disappointed! All the meat was good! We had potatoe salad and fried okra for sides. Both of these were really good as well. Did I mention the blueberry pomegranate tea??? Definitely will be back soon!!!
