This pizza is legit!!!!
I quote my boyfriend
“I’m mad we wasted our time with all the greasy, mediocre pizza around the city”

The owner is very friendly, personable, and has a good sense of humor.
He told me his family moved to Santa Fe from Italy when he was young, and his grandfather, Bruno was a chef. (It must run in the family) This is the most authentic pizza you can get in Santa Fe, in my opinion.

Though the hours are limited to lunch, it’s absolutely worth it to stop by for a taste!

THANK YOU Brunos Pizzeria, for satisfying my craving beyond what I ever could have expected❣️

Our posted what we ordered in the photos.

I’m a New Yorker, and I noticed this pizza place and decided to give it a try. Honestly, it was delicious and worth every penny. I ordered cheese slice with sun dried tomatoes as my extra topping. I was amazed by the large size and the amount of bread which, which I really enjoyed.
Bruno, the owner, is very sweet and I’m glad to found his pizza place. I even ordered a prickly pear flavored iced drink. It is really good but there are other flavor options. Definitely give it a try. Just a heads up: it’s a food truck, not a storefront. There are tables outside for eating but it was raining when I went.

Let me tell yall that this is some of the best gluten free crust that I’ve had! I’ve been gluten free 6+ years due to diagnosis and the one thing I miss the most is a good, crispy, fluffy pizza. I try out new pizza places in every state/city I go to because I’m a pizza enthusiast. I wasn’t expecting much because trust me when you’re gluten free and you go to a pizza shop it usually ends up being cardboard thin pizza that gets soggy the moment it hits your table, but I decided to take the risk. I was on vacation and had no car, so I walked the 30 minutes to this little food truck AND LET ME TELL YOU IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This pizza held its structure perfectly (as you can tell in the video) and was so crispy, fluffy, and light!
Literally everything you’d want in a pizza. I even took some back home, reheated it in a pan and it was still amazing and crispy. They import their crust from Italy to get the most authentic texture from a regular gluten crust and they even make their own sun-dried tomato’s (amazing btw). My stomach didn’t hurt afterwards so that was a plus! I’m not celiac, but i’m very sensitive to cross contamination and I made sure to go right when they opened at 11:30AM. The best part is that this food truck is veteran owned! I talked to the owner for about 20 minutes and he went into their back story. This place is legit and they know their stuff. The owner and his daughter are absolutely amazing, they are so passionate about what they do, and they’re dang good at it! If you’re in Santa Fe I’d definitely make it a point to stop here for their pizza, gluten free or not!

Edit: I’m seeing some negative reviews on here about them being rude, long wait times, and not answering phones. While you have the right to feel a certain way, just remember it’s literally just them two running the kitchen and doing everything else. If you’ve ever worked in the food industry when it gets busy IT GETS BUSY. They can’t always answer your phone calls when they have online and in person orders because it gets overwhelming! And while it may look dead in the lot and it seems like you’re the only one there, I promise you they have other orders they need to fulfill. There are always things going on behind the scenes that customers don’t see. Please be patient because their pizza is worth it.

Craving pizza while in Santa Fe, needing a break from New Mexican cuisine, we discovered Bruno’s. One source declares Bruno’s is the reigning “Best pizza in New Mexico”. We didn’t authenticate this claim, but we did thoroughly enjoy this pizza and the charming gentleman who delivered the order to our car. This New York style pie was perfectly balanced with ingredients and flawlessly executed. Hats off to Bruno’s! Thanks for satisfying our craving!

They don’t miss at Bruno’s! Great price, great slices! I heartily recommend coming to this location for lunch. It was a terrific margarita pizza they had, with a great variety of toppings to choose from. It was crunchy, with great tomato sauce and cheese making for a delicious tasting meal! Give this place some love, and try their menu! I look forward to coming back!

Had a couple really great experiences with these guys recently. I’m from New England and am pretty particular about my pizza – I like pizza that tastes nostalgic and traditional, not fancy or experimental. Living out west, I have to write off like 90% of the pizza as just not being what I’m looking for – it’s either too fancy/expensive/experimental, or too basic/cheap/flavorless, a lot of the time. It’s a real problem when you just want simple pepperoni pizza the way you remember it from when you were a kid, more or less.

Which is why I was very happy to discover Bruno’s here in Santa Fe. Really delicious pizza that fits my exacting standards, and isn’t too insanely expensive either. Their hours are a bit limited, but if you’re looking for legit no-frills NY-style pizza in downtown Santa Fe, this seems to be the real deal, at least to me.

Bruno’s has become our regular pizza spot in Santa Fe. We order from them about once a week…it’s that good! They are fifth generation pizza makers from New York, and it shows. NY style pizza (or really, any style of pizza) can be hard to find done well in this part of the country, but Bruno’s really gets it right.

Our usual order is a 20” Regular Pie and the 20” Buffalo Bee Sting (pictured). Both are consistently excellent.

The regular always has the perfect balance of sauce and cheese. It’s hard to nail a simple pie with nothing to hide behind, and this one is always incredible.

The Buffalo Bee Sting is so special and truly unique. It’s one of our favorite pizzas anywhere. The hot honey + buffalo chicken combo is the best! Definitely give it a try!

We also highly recommend the bread sticks with marinara, along with the cheese steaks, meatballs, and cannolis. The cannolis are so tasty, very authentic, and not overly sweet.

One thing we really appreciate is how good their food feels to eat. A few family members are easing back into a wider range of foods after some health restrictions, and Bruno’s always agrees with them. You can tell they care about quality and how their food is made.

Everyone at Bruno’s is kind, welcoming, and responsive about their schedule and specials. We’re very grateful to have a local place like this to be regulars at. Looking forward to our next order 🙂

Can’t wait until their inside space opens up! They have sooo much family experience in the biz. Their pizza is great, and I’m glad they suggested to have both the green AND roasted red chilies. Nice and spicy. The granita is so nice, it gave me a brain freeze… And refills!

The pizza was really good. The cheese pizza and the margarita pizza were very enjoyable. The owner of the location was a delight to visit with. He was very friendly and we enjoyed our conversation with him immensely. With that said, parking here is terrible and extremely confusing. They do not serve water in plastic cups. You will have to buy water out of a can. The seating is all outside seating. While the food was very good, we do have to make it known that it was very slow service. I would go back again, and I would gladly do so, but it would’ve been nice to have had a little heads up on the seating and on the parking.

It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Definitely tasted like our favorites from upstate NY. We loved the vibe and the lady at the front is so sweet and a wonderful host. Our NY slice was cut a little short (it usually covers up the whole plate) we didn’t even notice but our host brought us another slice to complete the slice! Cannoli was perfect and one of the best we’ve ever had. First time trying granitas and they’ve become a new favorite. Can’t wait to bring family and friends here when they come visit!
