Worst experience ever.
I ordered at 6:26 PM last night. The website said delivery would take 35 to 40 minutes. The site even showed progress updates saying my food was being prepared and that the driver was on her way to pick it up. I received a text stating my food would be delivered between 7:03 PM and 7:13 PM. Okay, great.

That time came and went. I felt bad for the driver because she had already been waiting at the restaurant for 30 minutes. They use Uber Eats, and she ended up waiting over an hour. I contacted Slice, the service they use, at 7:37 PM to ask what was going on. It took them eight minutes just to ask for my order number after saying they would look into it.

I ended up calling the restaurant. The guy who answered was nonchalant about the delay and had to ask three or four people where my order was. I believe they forgot about it. They offer a discount for ordering online but clearly cannot keep up with those orders. If they are busy, the estimated delivery time should be changed, especially the text message sent three minutes after the order was placed.

Back to the chat, the Slice agent never responded again until 7:59 PM after I told him the driver had finally picked up my food at 7:55. The driver also drove past the correct road and went up three major streets. It turned out she had other deliveries to make from different restaurants.

Now, about the food. The calzone was delicious. My husband said the BBQ pizza was good. The salad was turning brown, had no cheese or green olives, and looked nothing like the photo online. The salami was rubbery. I asked for Italian dressing on the side but they gave us ranch. The chocolate cake and red velvet cake were both delicious. The Slice rep did give me a discount to make up for the experience, but at that point I was just hungry. It took a total of 2 hours to receive.

We stumbled into this gem after a
snowstorm prevented me from going far for dinner. Walking in it’s not fancy but it feels like walking into a family kitchen. We were greeted warmly. We ordered the margarita pizza and it was delicious. We were transported to Italy. Came back to hotel with pizza for breakfast.

Ordered two pizzas for my family — especially for my mother who was visiting from out of state and has always loved Bruno’s. Unfortunately, these were the worst pizzas we’ve had to date. They were paper-thin with little to no toppings and honestly very disappointing.

What made it worse was that the owner, Rachel, had told us she would “make them special” since my mom was visiting. That absolutely did not happen.

I called a couple of days later to discuss it (they were closed Monday, I had surgery Tuesday, and was finally up and around by Thursday). I explained the circumstances and why I hadn’t called sooner. I was told the best they could do was offer 10% off a future order over $50. After spending that much already on inedible pizza, that response felt dismissive.

Very disappointing experience. Sadly, this will be our last order from Bruno’s Roseland.

Bruno’s near Notre Dame makes great pizza! We had the sausage, and it was perfection. The crust, combined with savory sausage, was a classic, simple delight. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the flavors balanced beautifully. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a darn good pizza. Highly recommend!

Great service, however the pizza didn’t seem the same. Much less cheese than usual the rest was fine but the lack of cheese kinda was a disappointment.

I just ordered a thin crust combination and an order of breadsticks. This is the best pizza in Indiana.

I’ll never order pizza from another place when in South Bend. The margherita pizza and pepperoni pizza were both on point. The garlic cheese bread . We accidentally ordered a few 20 inch pies not knowing that it was basically a double large. Luckily we did, after everyone in our group raved about it, the others who went elsewhere for dinner had to indulge. Not one person was disappointed. Highly recommend supporting this place over any chain. Worth every penny.

Pretty good pizza, and it’s painted like the Italian flag, so the pizza must be just like in Italy then….right? Unfortunately, no…..but still good pizza.

We arrived at about 7pm on Friday of a football weekend, and Bruno’s was busy. It’s more of a place to pick up and go, but they have a few tables and we ate there. The owner was very friendly and the pizza was fantastic! The sauce was so good–not spicy, not runny. Excellent pizza! Happy to recommend this Bruno’s! Even on a game weekend!
