Great German food! The food tasted authentic! It was the best jagerschnitzel I’ve tasted outside of Germany. My wife and I shared the 3 schnitzel with cucumber salad, German potato salad and red cabbage. We added an order of the potato pancakes. Portions were big, so we took enough for another meal the next day. I would come here regularly, but unfortunately we live in Texas and are just visiting. They have a good selection of German beer and the service was excellent!

Friendly staff, handed us the menus and said seat yourself. It was good European food. Need to focus on more cleaning. Carpets were filthy and should be vacuumed/shampoo’d. The atmosphere could use a bit more lighting. Wish there was orange soda for their specialty drink but they were out. All in all, we will come back to try more food from the homeland.

First time eating here, and went for my mom’s birthday just the 2 of us! Phenomenal service, friendly warm server, and was also greeted and welcomed by the owners. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and authentic (being german ourselves, this was a treat! ). We will absolutely be back!

Fantastic and authentic
Can’t say enough about how lovely this little gem is. My food was incredible, the interior is full blown Deutsche haus, and the service was great.
Rahm battered pork Schnitzel in mushroom gravy, buttered spätzle, and pickled red cabbage for this round. Absolutely delicious.
Beer on tap was fresh and bubbly. Prost!
Dessert tray came my way to entice, and it worked. Death by Chocolate cake was moist, fluffy, and the crunchy crust sealed it all together.
Ample parking, great for cheaper lunches, family gatherings, drunken debauchery with the crew, or solo travelers alike.

We had a wonderful meal. Cindy, our waitress was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She asked us what we were looking for, and she suggested some food items. We didn’t even have to look at the menu. BAM! What a delicious lunch we got. We really liked it. We have had German food quite a few times from other places , Bruno’s nails it!

The best German food I’ve had outside of Germany. My MIL is from Germany and gave her seal of approval when visiting. We brought friends and now have a standing “second Saturdays at Bruno’s” every month. My mom said it was one of the best meals she’s ever had. Go on Saturday and get the PICKLE SOUP. My go-to is the Jager schnitzel with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Husband can’t stop ordering the rouladens and says they are better than mom’s. I’ve made thousands of pierogis with my Polish Great Gram and Bruno’s is spot on – always delicious and so nostalgic. That chocolate cake? Limoncello? YUM! I’m very grateful for Bruno’s, and their commitment to authenticity is beautiful.

Bruno’s schnitzel was amazing. I ordered it with the mushroom & onion gravy. 100% would order again
My husband had the sausage platter, which had a great variety of sausage styles.
The server was holding everything down, all on her own. Everything came out perfectly.
We ordered desserts to go, and they were phenomenal.

Everything about Bruno’s is authentic and wonderful. I wish I knew about this sooner, but now I am going to have to eat here often. It’s a little expensive but not horrible. Service is fantastic and everyone makes you feel at home. Beware at the end they are going to bring around a tray with delicious deserts and despite practicing saying no, it’s highly likely you will buy the Bavarian creme filled desert and then be too full to finish it and do the walk of shame….. Not that I would know or anything.

Bruno’s is one of our family’s favorite restaurants in the Lakewood area. All their food is delicious and filling. We usually get the Frikadelle, Jager Schnitzel, and Schnitzel Trio dishes. The Rahm Schnitzel and perogies are awesome! Everything on the menu is fabulous! You must try the Hangover Soup !!! It’s delish and hearty. Just the right soup for a cold winter’s night. They serve it with hot crusty rolls and butter- perfection. We usually buy the large quart to take home – so worth it. The wait staff are very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend. Just a FYI: They prefer cash payments. If you pay by credit card or debit card, there is a 3.5% service fee added to the bill.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Excellent German dishes. The Black Forest Cake was the best I’ve had.
