Ok so I’m guessing if you go early before the dinner rush on Fridays you’ll get better service, also it seems they have music on Thursday’s so maybe consider that if you’re able to. The upstairs terrace is the place to be. I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the vault bar and the outside balcony lounge/terrace. The food is pricey but its the ambiance your paying for. Oh I also recommend the big bloody!

On this really warm evening, we wanted a great place to sit outside. Bruno’s has a fantastic patio for both day and evening. Umbrellas for shade, fire pits for night and some nights live music. It was too warm for a heavy meal, but Bruno’s has GREAT salads. You can add protein too. We had the pear Gorgonzola salad with chicken added. It was loaded with toppings and just the right amount of dressing. The tri tip was tender and was the best part of that salad. There’s a great drink menu which includes local beers, wine and some great cocktails. There are a few different choices to dine inside. Downstairs dining room, upstairs has a more pub/sports bar vibe and outside on the patio. There’s also a large banquet area. Oh I can’t forget the fireplace bar. Cozy and great spot for a drink. The owners have really done a great job remodeling the spaces.

Must stop in Scotts Valley, very cool vibes tons of neat different atmosphere places to seat, fancy dinningroom, patio on the roof or the fun bar area. The food is decent regular American food, the side salad does need some more attention though. The staff is always friendly, if you are lucky you will see the Bull.

Good place for dinner in Scotts valley ! Menu is deep with a good variety. They have specials so be sure to ask for them ! Their bar next door is lively and has activities most nights . THE LIGHTS FLICKER RANDOMLY FOR NO REASON. Newcomers are always worried . Regulars don’t care lol.

I had bypassed this place from 1st glance at day light! It seemed to me as if it looked like an average pizzeria from outside! A week later I glanced at the local paper something about a life music, drink specials, good food on Fridays @ Bruno’s Bar & Grill. So I thought, ehhh what the heck, I’ll go and get something to eat there but didn’t expected the amazing dining experience I had!!!

Well the atmosphere on the roof top, lightings, food, the service, decoration, prices accompanied with great smooth live music, as well as dining our delicious dinner at a table with a bond fire in the middle burning… what a surprise this was!
This is a 5 star place all around, camouflaged in hiding in Scott’s Valley.
My suggestion of food; The NY Steak w/ ribs.

I remember back when Bruno’s was BBQ. So now it’s not BBQ but a bar and Grill. The brisket is more like pot roast. There is no crust, smoke ring, well done no pink. The tri tip also cooked well done hard to chew definitely needs sauce to add moisture to the meat. The ribs while good not over the top. Loaded baked potato not worth a $3 up charge. If I’m going to pay more for toppings I don’t want to put them on the potato. Butter comes in packets, sour cream in plastic cup & not enough bacon/ onions. For the price point and location this place could be a five star restaurant if they would make a couple of small changes to their process. The overall experience, service, atmosphere is good. Would definitely recommend for dinner and bar to anyone

Hard to tell its a BBQ joint, not your typical place. I had the Wrangler burger. It was fine, nothing to write home about. My son had the beef ribs and LOVED them. He said they were very good. They made a mistake on his side choice, but ended up bringing him the basket of garlic bread he wanted. Good rib place, ok burger place.

Love Bruno’s! Good drinks. Solid and dependable food, and fantastic company. The outdoor seating is fantastic with lots of fire pits for those chilly winter / spring evenings. The downstairs bar is also great if it gets too cold outside.
