I want to thank the bakers at Bruno’s for knocking this one out of the park. My daughter loves red velvet and the color green so they made us the perfect cake. Red velvet is usually heavy and thick, but this was light and fluffy. Absolutely delicious and my daughter loved it for her birthday. Thank you! I’ll be back.
Highly recommended!
The standout was the opera cake. It was something I had never tried before, but it was delicious and a pleasant surprise. Everyone loved it, making it the highlight of our visit and giving us hope for the rest of the menu.
Unfortunately, the chocolate fudge cupcake was a letdown. Neither I nor my friends enjoyed it. The cake had an unusual light pumpkin brown color instead of a rich dark brown, and the frosting wasn’t appealing to any of us. Would definitely not recommend
We also tried a churro croissant. While I personally didn’t like it due to the cream inside, my friends did enjoy it, so this might just be a matter of personal preference.
The dark chocolate mousse was good but very rich and dense, typical of chocolate mousse. It didn’t blow us away but was an average, decent dessert.
I was excited to try the Ferrero Rocher dessert, but it was disappointing. It tasted somewhat artificial, like eating a Ferrero Rocher but with something off. It wasn’t anyone’s favorite and was just okay. I probably wouldn’t get it again.
Overall, the bakery has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but the quality of the desserts was hit or miss for us.
