Bruno’s is a fantastic new addition to the Lancaster, NY scene (since Feb 2024)! We finally had the opportunity to stop on and check it out.
Their menu offers a great variety, from Italian classics, to burgers, pizza and everything in-between. A nice selection of appetizers and desserts too. Don’t let the outside fool you; the interior is surprisingly spacious, with a comfortable dining area and a separate bar with extra seating.
We had a reservation and were seated right away. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and the portions were really generous – I even got two meals out of my spaghetti parm with meatballs! The fish fry was huge, too.
Generally, the prices are what you’d expect for this type of restaurant and atmosphere. The only thing that stood out as a bit pricey was the $16 espresso martini. It was delicious, but a little smaller than I anticipated for the cost. If it was an option, I’d give Bruno’s a 4.5 stars out of 5.

Tried Bruno’s for the first time and we loved the atmosphere, service and food. Nice to have another good local restaurant in our village. They had bread with oil to start the meal along with multiple options for apps and light or heavy meals, the sauce was delicious. Meatballs were amazing. We will be going back again.

I wanted to like this place but no it was a miss. I made a reservation and you can choose which section for your table. We were seated in a different area. Ordered a $12 cocktail, no garnish. They don’t offer mocktails, so I ordered a ginger beer and was given the can. Ordered the $20 fish fry and noticed a side was missing. When I asked, they said they were out. They should mention this before ordering or provide a substitute.

Had a wonderful experience here at Bruno’s this evening with my parents. Food was delicious and we cannot wait to return. Mushroom soup, banana peppers, and the spaghetti with meatballs were show stoppers !! Will be enjoying our leftovers tomorrow. Service was top notch! Ask for Kathy she was incredible!! Thank you all for a great evening.
Posted in pictures: spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, eggplant sandwich, and linguine carbonara.

Found the restaurant on Step Out Buffalo’s page and tried for the first time! None of my family has ever been, so we were all excited.
The food was perfect, delicious. No problems, and it came out very quickly. Exactly how we ordered it too, nothing was messed up. Oh and it was HOT, not lukewarm or cold. The hot that you get when you immediately eat something off the stove after cooking!
The inside has a great vibe to it, and was beautifully done. The cherry on top was Nonna sitting at the table next to us, talking about how she made the gnocchi that morning (but they dont always have them) and the sauce! It was loud, but in a good italian family dinner type of way
We will definitely be back!
I do recommend making your reservations online rather than calling. But the restaurant/owner was very accommodating and had good energy to him.

Overall, this place was great. They had me at no seed oils lol <3 We had the linguine and meatballs with house sauce and the rigatoni parm. The pasta was homemade and really good. Not overcooked at all. The sauce was really good. They toss the pasta in the sauce like real italian restaurants do. We both started with a Caesar salad. They were good but only down side was the dressing was not tossed like a traditional Caesar, it was served on the side. We also got an order of the pretzel sticks with real beer cheese, not that fake orange cheese most others places serve. The service could have been better but it was busy when we were there. The atmosphere is cute and casual and there are a lot of tvs. The entrance is in the back where the parking lot is. We look forward to returning and trying more things!

4 of us had lunch at Bruno’s today and we each chose a different dish! Pittsburgh steak salad, fish fry, cowboy burger and gluten free pasta. We agreed all were absolutely delicious and we look forward to going back and trying a few more.

What an amazing experience at Bruno’s! Started with the warm pretzel rods with homemade cheese sauce…. Delicious, and they you give you so much! I had the fish fry which was so large it was falling off the plate… so tasty and flaky!! We also had a burger that was so big we had to flatten it to eat it…and it had such great flavor! You can tell the chef puts his heart and soul into his food! This was our second time there and the quality of food continues to be great!! Make sure to make a reservation before going! The word is spreading about this great place and it books up fast!
