I ordered a traditional mimosa with pineapple juice and if you’re expecting a champagne flute, don’t. My mimosa came in what I swear was a beta fishbowl on a stem. It was massive. The volume alone made sure that I only had 1.
We ordered the crab cake Benny and chicken and gravy. The crab cakes were great and the poached eggs were perfect. I could have used a pinch of salt but that’s just me because I cleaned the plate without adding it. The chicken and gravy was a huge serving. My date could only eat half and he has an appetite. I also got the premium side of fruit that was fresh and a generous portion.
Anyways, I liked it. We’ll definitely be back with friends to check out the Mimosa Tower.
ETA: I CAME BACK but not for the tower. Just 1 friend and we had a lovely brunch. The Valentine’s weekend menu was great! My friend got the Philly Cheese steak and i got the powerbowl. Everything was great, as usual.
The real highlight, of course, was the food. It wasn’t just good; it was spectacular. Our server was a true gem—not only polite and friendly but also incredibly helpful. He guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, offering recommendations that turned out to be absolute showstoppers. The menu was so tempting that a couple of us couldn’t decide on just one dish and ended up ordering two!
Every plate that arrived at our table was a work of art. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold and fresh, and it was clear that every dish was prepared with care. For the quality and creativity of the food, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, offering fantastic value.
We left feeling completely satisfied and “super stuffed” in the best way possible, already planning our next visit. If you are looking for a place with a wonderful staff, incredible food, and a welcoming vibe that feels like a home away from home, this is it. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience. We wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to come back. This is definitely a must-try!
It took 35 MINUTES for our food to come to our table. (It was not crowded at all.) We are convinced it was ready for a long time but just forgotten about. My breakfast burrito was not hot, barely warm, even. Like it had been sitting awhile. The cheese sauce had congealed on top like the skin that forms on queso as it cools. I tried one bite and ended up not eating any of it. Our complaints were met with complacency, not concern.
The coffee was okay. Potatoes decent. The ketchup was runny and tasted like some cheap generic brand, or maybe just old? watered down?
Worst part—flies everywhere. We’d have been better off eating outside. We will not return.
The food we ordered while we dined in was really good. The potatoes with the fried jalapeños was delish.
It was a nice crowd/vibe in there. We went on a Saturday with no reservation and initially ended up being told it would be a 15-20 minute wait but they ended up seating us right away.
I will go back to give them another try!
Changed this to 5 stars – went back on a Tuesday morning and it was actually kind of busy but our waiter did not waste time with taking our orders and bringing out the food as soon as it was ready. It was delicious.
We had the Mothers Day sampler special, the Notorious BLT (with fried green tomatoes on it…what!!), and the Powerhouse bowl.
