I’m from out of town and was in Wilmington for a wedding over Valentine’s Day weekend (Saturday) which is what brought us to the area. We love the beach and have actually visited this location before. This time though, the experience was even better!
From the moment we were seated, our server Jadyn was absolutely phenomenal. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Her warm personality and service with a smile truly elevated our entire experience.
The food was delicious and beautifully prepared per usual, but it was the exceptional customer service that really stood out. Jadyn made us feel welcomed and appreciated the entire time.
Great food brings you in, but amazing service brings you back and we will definitely be returning next time we’re in Wilmington!

Another fantastic visit to Brunches- I love this restaurant but especially this location! We live in Landfall and always come by for a visit; we love the outdoor seating that’s available. I came in to celebrate a friend visiting and had such a fun and delicious experience. Our table ordered the Carolina Sunrise, chocolate chip pancakes, and a few of their specialty alcoholic drinks—and everything was amazing.
The standout surprise was one of the cocktails that literally tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It was unique, fun, and absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try if you’re looking for something different and playful. The food was just as great: fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a celebratory brunch.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend Brunches for any occasion!

While on vacation, my husband and I stopped here for lunch. I ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese on the waitress’s recommendation, and my husband went with the biscuits and gravy combo. Short story: I wish I’d ordered what he got! The mac and cheese came topped with what tasted like Tyson frozen chicken nuggets tossed in buffalo sauce, which wasn’t what I was anticipating—I expected fresh-cooked chicken. I did tell the waitress I didn’t like it and she offered to take it off the bill but I had a few bites of it as I was hungry and didn’t feel like it warranty a waive bill. On the other hand, my husband loved his meal and ate every bite (and thankfully shared a little with me). The mimosas are HUGE definitely not something you can finish if you plan on driving after. I’d come back again for breakfast and the genuinely kind service.

I was staying at Wrightsville Beach, and was looking for a good brunch location. I found Brunches.
The food was excellent. The Chicken Biscuit Supreme was amazing. It was very flavorful, and I received a large portion. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was so good I went there the next day, and had the Crab Cake Benedict. Which was also delicious.
I will definitely be going back the next time I am in the area.

It was a busy Sunday at 10am but we got seated pretty quickly. Service was great and food came out fast. Everything we ate was fresh and hot. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the grits were creamy and flavorful. The Mimosas looked great and I would have loved them but I prefer a sweeter sparkling wine at brunch. If you prefer a dryer wine these are perfect for you. Presentation was amazing.

A mall restaurant. It was somewhat what I expected. High volume, overpriced decent quality dishes. Busy and loud. Service was slow but our server had a good vibe to her.
Dishes were good. There was no attempt to elevate them for the price. However we were there to socialize and enjoy the downpour.
I had the eggs Benedict…mid. The GF had the Strawberry cheesecake AND french toast. Sadly, the expectation was the cheesecake would be incorporated somehow with the french toast but it was just a serving portion of french toast AND a slice of cheesecake…dun dun dunnn.

We returned for another visit and another! Everything is fantastic and they made the wife’s birthday even more special by allowing us to kick it off with drinks at the bar at 10:00 am. The menu is outstanding, whatever you choose! The Mac and cheese is fantastic, the Irish shot is superb, the drinks are excellent!!

Though our food was good, it took a while before we received our food. It got pretty frustrating when our waitress Misti kept checking in on other tables but ours. We never had issues before but for the service we received today, it sucked. Calling it how it is, we have had better service on busier days. From other waitresses. But like I said, food was good though. Everything was fresh and tasty. Misti, do better.
