Came across Bruma on a whim after landing at the airport from the U.S. My girlfriend and I decided to stop here for our first ever dinner in Panama.
We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our experience. Angelica was super friendly and helpful. The food was flat out fantastic and the cocktail program was impressive. The best food we’ve come across so far in Panama City.

Excellent food and service. Highly recommend this restaurant to fellow travellers. The ceviche was amazing. The spicy shrimp tacos on a soft shell were the best ever. The mains were tasty too. Our server highly recommended the lemon pie and it was delicious. Must go and check it out.

Chowder soup, shrimp tacos, smoke fish dip, fries, chicken, Brussels sprouts, in coconut sauce, passion fruit juice, Savannah rio, and jungle reef. Everything was delicious. Let me not forget our waitress Maryeliz and the chef Erika. Stop by if you’re in Panama. They will not disappoint.

The food and service were truly top-notch. We ordered the chowder soup, shrimp tacos, ceviche, fish and chips, the mahi-mahi, the Bruma beef burger, and the chocolate cake as dessert. These dishes were recommended by our server, Yahir, and his colleague Carmelo, both of whom were exceptionally kind and attentive. The atmosphere is calm, and the food arrived quickly. Their culinary style is outstanding, with deliciously balanced flavors.
We are visiting Panama on vacation, and this was the first restaurant we tried and it’s safe to say it will be a place we revisit on future trips to the area. The restaurant has a modern look, and the restrooms are clean. Best of all, the food and service made us feel right at home.
Tip: Try the malt vinegar with the ceviche. It’s imported, and very few restaurants have it available!

Service is a bit slow. Food comes out but does not connect with the timing for the next food.
Servers are chill and the ambience is good.
Unless you really like lobster, i wouldn’t recommend it since it was mid. All the other plates, very nice and recommended.

The freshest oysters; the mignonette & the tartar sauce JUST AMAZING; the coleslaw is just perfect and the shrimp tacos had the perfect balance, flavor and presentation. The service & the wine list absolutely amazing. Best experience I’ve had in years in Panama.
