When booking Brukas, you must make your reservation at sunset. The view is amazing. In addition, the service and food were just as amazing as the views. We had the king prawns to start and then shared the pumpkin ravioli, white fish and seared tuna. Lovely spot for dinner but be prepared for a hike up the hill to arrive!

The biggest and most heartfelt shout out to Nacho and the crew, we knew for years this was the perfect and special spot for us to celebrate our wedding. The level Nacho took this to blew me away!!! Every single bite, detail of the night and request I had was exceeded! We can’t thank you guys enough for making our evening absolute magic, YOU WENT ABOVE ANE BEYOND! Killed it, we are forever grateful! Our families will be raving about their meals and the beautiful night for years to come.

We arrived super excited for our reservation, but the service we received was terribly bad. The Argentine guy with grayish hair (I think his name was Cesar? Not sure) forgot our appetizer order for almost an hour. For us to pay a $150 bill, the service was definitely not worth it at all. He apologized, but after that he never checked on us again. We practically had to beg another waiter for our drinks. The place itself is beautiful with an amazing rooftop, and the food was good, but it’s way too expensive for such mediocre, poor service.

Incredible food and beautiful view! The menu is small but thoughtfully curated, with enough variety that there is something for all tastes. I tried the shrimp which was excellent and the seared tuna which was delicious (although my bar for tuna in Costa Rica is extremely high, and I had better at two other restaurants). The cocktail menu was inventive and the atmosphere was relaxed but elevated, with an open kitchen which I really enjoy. Service was friendly but not super attentive and I felt a little neglected at times even though there were only three tables. All in all, a stunning restaurant well worth a visit!

My dad and I ate here on the last night of our first big father–daughter trip, and it was such a great experience! From the service (Fernando is the best!) to the food and the atmosphere, it was truly a dinner for the books. Having a personable, attentive, and genuinely kind waiter made the night even more special.

The food here is outstanding! The steak was perfectly grilled, the wood-fired dishes and drinks were incredibly yummy, and Fernando’s service was absolutely amazing. Plus, the view for the sunset is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

My go to restaurant in Santa Teresa. Was just there with my wife and two of our kids and we did a family style dinner using a couple appetizers and a Tomahawk steak with some accompaniments. What a great dinner and outstanding view. The wait staff were very flexible in accommodating a modified version of their menu to make it fun for us.

Absolute must if you’re in Santa Teresa! Book a table for sunset to be sure to get a gorgeous view of the sun setting over the water. Our server Mary was super funny and friendly and gave us amazing service. In general a very friendly staff. The spicy shrimp appetizer was delicious and the flank steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth (steak smelled so good I forgot to take a photo). Excellent experience all around!

This location is not for the faint of heart – it is up a very steep road with limited parking. Best for quads/motorcycles or being dropped off by a cab. We got there after sunset when most arrive, so we missed the highlight of the location and the servers forgot about us. The lack of service really overshadowed the food which was delicious. We shared a charcuterie board and each had a fish dish. The grilled vegetables served with the whole snapper were a highlight of the meal. That said, it took over 1.45hrs to get our appetizer, we had to ask for water and ice multiple times and then at the end of our meal our server was sitting at the bar and the manager or owner came to the table to settle the bill.
