The staff here go above and beyond. They are friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. The atmosphere is clean, calm, and welcoming. Everything about the service feels organized and top-notch.
It is refreshing to see a team that treats customers with real respect and care. This location sets the standard for what great service should be. Thank you for making my visit such a positive experience. I will definitely be coming back!
What can I say, but how the mighty have fallen.
I recently placed a SIMPLE order at the Roseville Bruegger’s location. Unsure if these are franchised, or all owned by JAB Holding Company. A conglomerate that includes Panera Bread, Manhattan Bagels, Einstein Bros, Krispy Kreme and more.
My simple order? A bagel with Jalapeno Cream Cheese and a tub of Jalapeno cream cheese to go. As I drove to my 10a appointment that day, I opened the bag, expecting to find my bagel. But instead, there was a dry (not toasted) sliced, plain bagel with (you may have guessed it) NO cream cheese. Really? An order *that* simple and you messed it up?
Still having some time before my appointment, I turned around and drove back to the store. Waited in line and told the cashier that my order was filled incorrectly. His response? NOTHING. No apology. Just put the order in the system correctly this time, and motioned the guy behind me to step up. A very simple apology would have cost Bruegger’s NOTHING. Better yet, how about refunding the cost of the bagel and offering an apology? None of that happened.
And to top off the experience, I (today) opened the tub of Jalapeno cream cheese I purchased a couple of days ago. The quality of this cream cheese is far from excellent. Unsure if JAB Holding Company have messed with the recipe or if this was just a lousy batch. I can confidently say, having purchased these tubs on MANY occasions over the years, this tub was inferior. A bad batch? Who knows. At this point, I’m unwilling to give Bruegger’s Bagels another chance to disappoint me. Or take my $$ for poor quality product (tub of cream cheese) and for poor service in response to a mistake on an in-person order.
Shame on you guys for falling so far, so fast.
The automated tip prompt included a “suggested tip” of $0-3. I appreciate that they kept it minimal.
It shares the building with caribou and there’s an open archway inside to go from one to the other
BUT it looked like a mini bagel! Tiniest bagel ever! Lol.
I have to say I was disappointed.
The store was clean and well kept. Nice location.
I must say, though, that I probably won’t be back anytime soon.
It took 5 times to get an order for half dozen bagels entered. Assorted apparently means you can’t pick and “the register was supposed to do that”. Sliced and in a freezer bag required constant supervision. Slicer could not be bothered to get a tie, “you need to go to the register for that,” and sends the customer back to the overwhelmed person at the register who had to ask slicer where the ties were.
Love the product. HATE the service, which geta worse and worse every time. Won’t go back.
