On the Bruegger’s app, I ordered a dozen bagels pre-SLICED 2.5 hours ahead of pickup time. I went to pick up my box of bagels and 2 cream cheeses on a busy game day morning. I got to the tailgater, open the box and NONE of the bagels are sliced. Big pain in the ass. Slice the bagels when requested!! Read the order before boxing up bagels.

My food is always made correctly there. The staff is friendly and ready to make your order.
Last week I left my debit card there and the manager went on fb to find me and message me. He went above and beyond and that is much appreciated. That says a lot about the people at the store. Thank you so much!

Do not go here on the weekend during a busy period. They are too busy and overwhelmed. Other than that it is fine . I get the sriracha sun rise and request the asiago instead of the everything. Their everything is pretty salty, but I am also an everything hater

This was actually the worst Bruegger’s experience of all time the college kids working here were bricks, rude, and couldn’t make a bagel to save their life

This place has really changed. The bagels are good. But at $6/ each. It’s expensive for a simple bagel with cream cheese. All of the charm and atmosphere that made guests want to sit and visit, has been removed. Now it looks and feels run down and a bit depressing.

In the past 6 months, every time I have gone to this location my order is made wrong. Every single time. I ask for double toasted and i get it ice cold and untoasted (see photo). I order a breakfast sandwich and they’ll add something random that isn’t supposed to be on it but forget one of the ingredients that is supposed to be on it. I love Bruegger’s, but this location has been disappointing.

Good on Bruegger’s and their friendly barista for allowing an extended stay as my car received a next-door exhaust repair… Cheers!
*Great cup of iced coffee to go with..

Utimately this place has bad food and I won’t be going back. The bagels themselves taste like plastic, they’re small, the cheese may be the cheapest cheese available, there’s too much mayo and not enough of the main protein. The price is too high, as the food quality and portion sizes are on par with Burger King and Taco Bell at best, so the prices should be cut by one half.
The service and atmosphere are all right.

This is definitely not the Bruegger’s of long ago. We go to the Iowa City location frequently. We were in yesterday to pick up two breakfast sandwiches. The Saturday just prior to Christmas there were TWO staff (appeared to be young students?) to make all breakfast orders and moving at a more than comfortable pace, honestly super slow, chatting the whole time while working. It was especially busy. We waited 45 minutes! Two other older staff members (1 manager?), rather than jumping in to rush the remaining orders through, spent time explaining “we are doing the best we can”. We were parked directly in front of the building & had to feed our meter 3 times! I watched multiple times customers being told they “ran out of hashbrowns” and the customers were not refunded their money & I heard no mention of anything offered in replacement. A longer wait is understandable but this was ridiculous. Lastly, most every visit our favorite bagels are gone. They definitely run with low offerings of anything besides the basics. Very poorly run business. Expensive for such a “wait forever” for what you get. We will find another regular spot to spend money. Geez.
