Place has a staffing issue. I’ve seen some what must be “regulars” treated well but the past 3 times I feel like I’m bothering them with my presence. Been going to this location for 20 years, just not the same. Bagels are still good when the order is made properly.

I love the food but the past year I’ve come here the staff is horrible. I walked in, three young female workers and one other customer, they just blankly stared at me the whole time. No hi, what can I get for you, have a good day. Nothing. I’ve walked in before to workers making out and not bothering to stop once I entered. If I order online it’s 50/50 correct order.

If I could give this a no-star rating I absolutely would! Brueggers used to be one of the gold standards in bagels. I understand having a bad experience at a restaurant, so I always give at least a second chance. After this last (and third) terrible experience, I am done. The man (who I believe is the owner) is always curt and rude. I have overlooked this gross display of customer service because the food was at least decent. However, even the food has been mediocre, at best. This last visit they were out of several items including eggs and lettuce. What? You are literally less than 1/8 of a mile away from a grocery store! And after asking for three different items they did not have, I was handed one of the thinnest sandwiches I have ever purchased for a whopping $7.80!! With so many other restaurants in the area, I’m done giving chances.

Today I went to the Bruegger’s Stow location at 1:40 p.m. The sign on the door says they are open until 2 p.m. The door was locked and there was no sign stating why they were closed early. As I sat in my car trying to figure out where to go I watched four other customers try to enter the building. This is the second time this has happened to me and I feel it is very unprofessional. If you are unable to staff your location it may be time to change your hours to reflect what you are able to handle.

Went there 2 days in a row. The workers are very rude. They act like they are doing me a favor because I came in. They don’t say hello or thank you or give you any kind a good customer service. They go out if thier way to make you feel so unimportant. Then they expect a tip.
