My best friend LOVES these bagels and gave me one to try! I love them! They are always so well cooked and the cream cheese is amazing! This goes great with a little coffee in my hand! My husband is a bagel fiend too, and he loves these bagels! He says the everything bagel is his favorite and he could and would eat one EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Love this place!! 10/10

I gave 4 stars to Food because there was any ,and atmosphere is equal if not worse than Starbucks.The cappuccino was a very good blend,..too bad they served it scolding hot and a small cup over 4$… pricey. .but the inflation does not makes it easier.The place does not invite to stay ,taste a good coffee in a good company.It needs an upgrade.

I’ve been here before but it was a long time ago and I remember the bagles were good and the staff was friendly. This time, not so much and I’ll never return. The cashier was a bit rude and dry and when I got my bagel there was an eye lash on it I had already left the establishment so I tossed it in the trash. What a waste.

Today, I had an extremely frustrating experience at Burgers Bagels in Madison. The employee behind the counter didn’t even bother to look up from what he was doing and rudely asked, “What do you want?” I asked for plain bagels, but he seemed lethargic and uninterested in helping me. He mumbled something incoherent and pointed to the bagels behind him. I asked him to repeat himself, but he responded in a rude and unprofessional manner.
When I asked if he would at least move so I could see the bagels for myself the employee, he responded with anger. It was only after he identified himself as the manager that I realized the extent of the problem. When I asked him who his boss was, he claimed he didn’t have one. When I asked if he was the owner, he said he was, but I still had my doubts.
I have been going to this location for 13 years, and it’s disheartening to see the decline of this establishment since Tracy, a truly exceptional employee, left around five years ago. Her departure has had a significant impact on the quality of service, and it’s clear that the current manager is not capable of running the business effectively.
I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and that the necessary steps will be taken to improve the customer experience at Burgers Bagels in Madison.

I would rather this place close than fool me into thinking that I’m going to get a quality product for a decent price with good service.
I know it’s harsh but my son likes bagels…if this place were closed I’d have no reason to be disappointed.

I’ve always gone here and the service used to be great. There was only 1 person working in the back and the line was out the door. It took 20-30min to order and get my food. When I came home and looked, there was no egg in my bacon, egg, & cheese bagel. I paid for egg. Overall, they need to hire more people and make sure the employees aren’t being lazy and rude. This location might need to be shut down considering how bad the service has been…

Ordering bagels at this location is dysfunctional. When looking over the bagels that are available, instead of making your selection at that time, you’re instructed to go to the register to place your order and then return to where the bagels are to pick up your order.
How about this: I look over the bagel selection and tell the employee(s) where the bagels are located what bagel(s) I want. I can then observe them grabbing the bagel(s) that I ordered, put them into a bag and THEN I proceed to the register to pay.
The current system is dysfunctional and STUPID!! Get somebody from corporate to go into this store and teach them how to operate in an efficient manner.

Im a Repeated customer for about a year now & im always highly satisfied.. not every work place is perfect. You can’t Hold YOUR high expectations for things YOU would do. These people are humans not Robots. They work hard and show up everyday with a smile.. I Really Appreciate those that do show up and try… the bagels Slap everytime, the vibes are vibing and i highly recommend if you like a Good fresh bagel to check them out definitely worth every bite!!

Most recent visit, the staff was overwhelmed and unpleasant. They were out of so many items and really rude about it. I understand there are major gaps in the supply chain right now but it didn’t have be a negative exchange between customers and employees. $5 Caramel macchiato tasted worse than the gas station machine. All prices were different in the system than on the menu. Many of the bagels on this visit and the last few visits have been undercooked. Such a bummer because this is a great location and I used to live coming here, but we won’t be back.
