Honest Reviewer
Came here on Sunday 1/4/26 to order a breakfast sandwich. As I walked in, I placed my order with a young lady who seemed extremely irritable. I received no greeting, just a “what do you want”. I placed my order and reluctantly pressed the one dollar tip button, and after my payment was completed, I requested a couple of pepper packets to be told they don’t have pepper. I used to come here often and would always order the same sandwich along with a couple of pepper packets. Why would a place that sells food not have salt and pepper packets?
So of course, the same young lady is the one who prepped my food. While I’m standing directly in front of her, she screams my order out loud. As I took my bag from her, I said, thank you, and as you probably guessed, I received no response.
If you hate your job this much, find another one.
This place used to be really good, but I see the reviews reflect the opposite. What a shame.
One more thing to add – after taking a bite out of the sandwich, I can clearly tell the quality of the food has gone downhill as well.

I’ve been going to Bruegger’s Bagels for years and have never been disappointed. This location is the exception. The last two times my partner and I have placed a mobile order, we arrived home to find that my food did not match my order. Most recently, my bagel was missing the extra ingredient and bagel type I requested (sadly losing me $1.70). More importantly, it contained ingredients I am allergic to, even though I opted out. I tried calling to reach the store manager, but no one picked up the phone.
On our last visit before this, I was also given ingredients I was allergic to. Plus, our mobile order was not ready at the specified time. We waited patiently for 20 minutes after the time, during which no one offered to help us, and then went up to the counter. The order had not been made because they were out of the bagel type we wanted. There was no effort to contact us via app or phone.
We have a giftcard to Bruegger’s, otherwise we would stop visiting this location. The store itself is fine but the service is unacceptable with dangerous results.

My mother and I wanted to try a new place together and when we ordered at the counter the lady at the register was so rude. First thing she says is “just to let you know we are out of some bagels” and then I say “okay which bagels are you out of?”
The response of this question apparently irritated her soul because she blatantly said “YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR YOURSELF” and slams the countertop like she’s been running a circus back there along with a fake laugh. I was afraid to continue ordering after that awkward moment of asking a simple question but I just said “oh ok plain”.
Trying out the bagels wasn’t too bad I just didn’t really like it, the bagels were really hard to bite as well. Overall we won’t be coming back.

I’ve been coming to the Cornelius Bruegger’s for 15 years, always hoping it will feel like it used to. Unfortunately, every visit leaves me disappointed. The quality of the bagels has declined—they’re often subpar and even burnt. During my last visit, we waited 35 minutes for just three bagels, with only 1 order of 2 bagels ahead of us because of a horribly understaffed shift. When we finally got our bagels they were not of quality at all. My husband was unable to eat his because he has an allergy to guacamole and they cut his bagel with the same knife as another bagel. My bagel was barely toasted and had so much sun-dried tomato you couldn’t taste anything else (Image included). My bagel looked or tasted nothing like the description said.
There was only one incredibly sweet employee working the front, who seemed to have a disability, managing the entire store while a line of customers waited. It was clear they were overwhelmed, yet there was no additional staff to help. We nearly walked out without the bagels we paid for. We watched four customers walk out due to the wait. One lady asked if there were others working with him, and he said yes but they were in the back “cleaning”. I am appalled this location allows one person to be controlling the front by themselves especially during rush hour. This has been the case every time we have visited this location in the past few months. I’m wondering if the others tell this particular worker that he must control the front while on the same shift with him? Historically at this location, there has ALWAYS been two workers up front.
The location is messy, and bagels are almost always sold out, no matter what time we arrive. This place needs at least two workers to keep up with demand and provide a better customer experience. Sadly, it’s not the Bruegger’s I remember, and I’ve decided I won’t be returning to this location.

We have visited this location twice now, both times have been mediocre. The food is alright, nether good nor bad. It fills you up, but that’s about it. The first time we came in, the service was fine, but I felt like a burden or inconvenience that I was in to order food. The second time I was met with a very disgruntled employee who had half the chairs on tables already (I came at 1pm and they close at 2pm), and very clearly did not want me to be there. We tried paying with 2 gift cards and that was a mistake, since it required more work for the employee. We were informed that one gift card did not work and there was minimal effort to troubleshoot the issue or compensate for the funds that were on it and had not been used. I get it, work is work, but there is a bare minimum that has to be attained in the food service industry to qualify as being “service”. Those standards are not met here, and the food can’t compensate in the services’ absence. This area has far more to offer for your next meal outside the walls of Bruegger’s Bagels

Love their bagels. Was bummed they were out of salt bagels today, had the blueberry bagel instead (toasted with cream cheese). Currently no indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside to eat a bagel and drink some coffee. There was a line (about 5 people) today, but the staff was quick at helping people, so the line moves quickly. Definitely be back.

I came to this location at least once a month. Today when I went in I order bagels and asked that they were sliced. The women told me sorry they are already boxed. When I explained that I asked 3 times that they be sliced when I ordered she aggressively started throwing them in the slicer to the point that some fell on the floor. Hope she has a better day!

First and last time ordering from this place, I ordered through Doordash and when I received my food the eggs on my bagel were green, which I know sometimes if an egg is boiled the yoke can be green but this egg was not boiled and it’s not just the yoke that’s green. Not to mention the smell of the eggs and the egg is what makes up most of the sandwich. Completely disgusting serving people old, rotten food. Hopefully don’t catch some disease from taking a bite before realizing. Attaching photos of the egg so everyone can see what I mean and how gross this is.

If I could give 7 out of 5 stars I would! Exactly what you expect from a beagle place. Highest of quality. The bit of green and a piece of meat in my strawberry cream cheese is what I needed for that little bit of extra energy to get my day started off right !! Will definitely be returning! ……NOT.
Dunkin is better and that’s saying something….

They don’t know what roasted red peppers are. The staff behaves as if you’re interrupting very important work by… existing and placing an order. I keep seeing the owner replying to these reviews and saying, “we take this seriously!” But… no, you clearly don’t, or you’d have more than a skeleton crew running the place. If you want customers, maybe get some employees who don’t treat them like an exhausting inconvenience. Everything was a problem for them. Even basic politeness.
