CHENEY – BRUCHI’S
Reviews
Lately I have been going to the Cheney location. During the summer the flies were horrible and the bathrooms were super dirty.
This past week I went there and they used a dish with meat already in it to weigh out my meat. They threw it on a dirty grill that hadn’t looked like it had been cleaned in days with burnt food surrounding it. He had gloves on but the same hand he touched the gloves with, he touched other food like pineapple and mushrooms which cross contaminated everything. He then cooked my food on the dirty grill.
Unfortunately, this Bruchis has joined the rest of them and I no longer am greeted by employees when I enter, and my entire interaction involves absolutely zero customer service. The only words said to me were, “What can I get you?” And, “Wyatt!” When my order was done.
It seems customer service is a thing of the past and I hope this store can bring it back.
Not to mention it took literally 28 minutes to receive my order with only 2 people in the restaurant.
Not to mention the paper they wrap the sandwiches in was so soaked and soggy with grease that the paper was falling apart all over the sandwiches.
Edit: Forgot to mention the medium size fry was served with about 1/4 of the bag filled.
It’s one thing to have a soggy sandwich if we take it home and it sits for a while, but when they delivered it to the table like that straight off the grill? C’mon.
Thing is, I’m not sure what more staff can do. Cooking the stuff on a flat grill takes 1 person as far as I can tell. Taking orders, prepping to-go bags, and dressing the food could be 1 person? Maybe 2. In the end, it’s like it should be a 2-3 person operation and cooking the foods, not a fast thing in general, I guess. I’d give ’em a 4 if the timing was better. (And people who ordered in via phone or online, their orders weren’t ready to go and had to wait for the people in line)
Food was OK.
And ended up talking to a branch in Bellevue that said the Bruchi’s corporate office hasn’t supported their franchise in years, and won’t answer the phone. Somehow Google listed this poor branch as the head office so they get customer complaints from Bruchi’s customers all over. The lady over there said a man Karen is still Karen but a Bruchi’s isn’t really a Bruchi’s.
Bruchis food is normally good, but the management doesn’t care to keep their employees or their customers happy. I wish Jeff Bezos would sell the Washington Post and buy this place. Cheesesteaks deserve better.
We ordered food online and went to pick it up and that was a 15min drive just to have then tell us they were out of bread. So I was like ookay and then they said we’ll have a good night then started walking away into the office. I had yell to them and ask for my money back.
This pic was today and it’s a steak Supreme sandwich that costs $13.35 and it was so soggy and the bread was so sad. Its the last time I go there.
