This place made me realize how good we had it in Camp Lejeune. Here the staff even seemed disappointed to be serving the food. They try to be friendly and it’s probably not their fault but I really hope someone of importance start reading the reviews and find ways to make this place more like the “chicken shack” or the “double-decker” chow halls in Camp Lejeune. I understand that there are less SINGLE service members on this base compared to others but Damm this place is bad. They seriously need to fix this place the only meal I’ve actually finished was the omelette option. Not even the drinks from the Fountain!! were good

The staff seem pleasant enough. The atmosphere is pretty dark for a mess hall, but usually not busy. The food quality is fairly hit or miss, usually a miss. Veggies are extremely over cooked. Twice now in the few times I’ve been here they’ve run out of their main courses well before closing time. Their taco night ran out of tacos in 45mins or less, and they seemed to not want to restock things like sliced bread halfway through the dinner hours. Very weird.

Absolutely incredible that there were people who created a cohesive thought that is this god forsaken chow hall.

I am consistently served raw food or, as many others will agree as well, that they serve meatloaf almost EVERY SINGLE DAY with very little variety.

They had paninis for a little while which was a big hit and everyone started to come back until they took it away. Now everyone comes to this chow hall for special events for when they actually try minus the barracks Marines whose poor souls have to go to this hell everyday.

This place is awesome. You can get a lot of food for such a great price and it’s really good. As a broke E-3 this is definitely the place to spend your money. Staff is chill but the highlight is the desserts. Favorites are the s’mores bars and oatmeal cookies.

Only reviewing breakfast. Selection and taste was good. Typical chow hall food. During covid so giving them benefit of doubt. Ran out of coffee one day. Weekend was bad they served was less food even though it costs twice as much. Staff was excellent. Friendly and fast.

Honestly this chow hall gives exactly what you’d expect. The food is fairly decent and they provide a decent range of options that have moderate flair and taste to them but at the same time things come out bland, overdone and undercooked consistently enough to annoy and deter you from dining in and enjoying the food available. The food on the fast lane is rather good mainly consisting of subs and wraps and the occasional lunch special such as quesadillas and wings. These are fine options but lack variety and text book creations of beloved dishes and menu options.

absolutley terrible food service building. there are zero healthy vegetarian substitutions for the meat heavy menu items daily. staff has always been polite and courteous. this is a one strictly for the abbismal quality of food.

Best bang for the buck! For a meal, salad, dessert of your choice and eat until you are satisfied you cant beat it. The meats are overcooked at times but have been impressed on the selection since I’ve been here. Good food

Friendly staff but lower quality food than what I’ve come to expect from Marine Corps chow halls. You’ll find better dining down in Lejeune or overseas, but you’re still not getting a bad deal for only a few bucks.

Undercooked omelets, steaks were still mooing and the cheese was moldy sometimes. I would never eat here again after 3 years. There’s also a lady in there with attitude as well.
