Located at the Shops at Perry Crossing, BRU Burger Bar Plainfield is the sixth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love… the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can’t imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Drink menu needs more variety! Burgers and onion rings are lovely! The only thing I would change is, I would allow the bartender freedom to put a spin and personality with the drinks!. House ketchup is something to remember, in a good way. Every employee were extremely pleasant to interact with. Special sauce could be better. Overall, great experience!

Seated very quickly and the staff was friendly. Waitress was great overall though when it came time we were done with our meal, it seemed to take a while to get our check. Otherwise the family has a great experience. As for the check taking a while, could have been me as the kids were getting restless.

I stumbled on this place on my search for a quick lunch. This is NOT a quick lunch place! I ordered their ‘special’- a pulled pork BBQ sandwich with onion straws and coleslaw. It was a great flavour combination that was well cooked. The portion size was “just right” for a lunch bite (you don’t want a meal too heavy before returning to work, right?). The server recommended the fries which were AWESOME!!! If you are need a non-alcoholic beverage to accompany your meal, try their ginger beer… I regret not ordering one to go.

I went solo to treat myself to a birthday dinner, so I had a bit of trepidation. However, the overall atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The wait time was about 1 minute, and I was escorted to my table. My server arrived in 2 minutes or thereabout, greeted me, and took my drink and dinner orders. I tried the “Michelle in Manhattan” drink and their double bacon burger. The menu was a la carte, so I opted to add French fries as well. The food was delicious. There were several people (on staff) who checked on me at intervals, and I appreciated that. Service was top tier, and I highly recommend this restaurant. Will probably be back during the holidays.

Our 1st time here, as we’re just staying for 1 night at the Marriott next door. I had a salad and my husband had a burger and fries. Service was quick and our server was very nice. The food was very good, and reasonably priced.

I went to Bru Burger for lunch today. I actually had a really good experience there. I wasn’t expecting much, since I didn’t have a good one at the Mass Ave location. However, they exceeded my expectations! The service, food, and portions were on point! I had the Stilton blue cheese burger by the way. So good! Also, shout out to my waitress Kinsey. You were great!

We checked out Bru Burger Bar when traveling around Indianapolis on a business trip. We really enjoyed most of the food, it has a good atmosphere and really nice service.
All of the food looked great, but the chicken tenders mainly tasted like breading. It was hard to taste any chicken. We enjoyed our other food tho.
The prices are on the higher side for the type of food and quantity. And parking can be hard to find. We were there for lunch during the week and it wasn’t busy.

I’ve been to Bru Burger a few times and they were really good. This time I ordered the chicken nachos. They were good but a little cold. I ordered the Patty Melt and onion rings. The patty melt was piping hot, but it lacked flavor. It tasted like absolutely no seasoning was used in the cooking process. I ate half of my hubby’s Nashville chicken sandwich, which was a little burnt. So this visit, the food was just okay. Not terrible, but not great.
