Centrally located near Beaumont Centre, BRU Burger Bar in Lexington, Kentucky is the second BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love… the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can’t imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

We were really disappointed in this place based on the reviews we saw.
The burgers were large, but EXTREMELY greasy. I literally had a puddle of grease on my plate from the burger constantly dripping on it.
Don’t get the garlic burger, it has little to offer in terms of flavor.
I got the Bru burger which was definitely better than the garlic one, but not worth the high price tag especially considering the amount of grease
Onion rings were okay- wouldn’t get them again. The ketchup was made in-house though which I liked although it seemed very sweet for ketchup

The local hotel recommended this place as the best place to get burgers. We orders at the bar to go and got back and had raw burgers. The food was not good for (2) burger meals at almost $50 with tip. Would not recommend this place.

The food and atmosphere here are great! The Chipotle BBQ burger is fantastic, along with the house made ranch, BBQ and ketchup that all taste great with the burgers! The fries are homemade and the best around as well! The vanilla shake is also a must with the caramel!

Love the vibe and the food here. Casual and classy, with a very well done upscale burger. While I enjoy seeing burgers that are different, if given the option I will always go for a classic cheeseburger and this place doesn’t disappoint. Well cooked and with proper proportions to meat, cheese and bread. Fries are good (a little chewy for them to be great) but the ketchup hides that well. The chili is a sweet with cinnamon flavors which can be off putting if you are expecting a southern chili, but a very good one if you like the flavors.

Honestly fantastic, though they changed their menu recently and got rid of some of the best (IMO) burger options. However, what they replaced them with seem just as tasty–just not really my style. I would say everything is reasonably priced for this economy and the quality of the food is certainly worth what they are charging. Appetizers are delicious, and the food always comes very quickly. Their cocktail & beer selection could use some work, but that’s a minor quibble. My fiance & I come here very often, and they have a fantastic rewards system. Staff is always very nice and was even willing to fix my burger after I made a mistake and ordered one with pork. Great place!!

The food was delicious. I had the salmon teriyaki burger and my husband had a bison burger, only complaint is that he said it could have been more medium rare. The Bru fries were enough for 3 or 4 people. Good prices..

The food is fantastic. We tried the chicken wings and soft pretzels to start and both were delicious. I am super picky about my pretzels and these really were spot on. Just a slight crunch with a soft, chewy inside!
All of our burgers were very good sized, perfectly cooked, and incredibly juicy.
To top things off, our server was friendly and made sure our experience was great.
