Located in the heart of Lafayette’s historic downtown yet walking distance to Purdue’s campus, Bru is an ode to our love… the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can’t imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

We were in town with our dog while her sister was at the Purdue animal hospital. Bru Burger was the only restaurant we could find with a heated patio where we could bring our furbaby. It was amazing! We were greeted with a bowl of water. Burgers were excellent. Steamed veggies were great. Yummy fries too. It was a nice escape from our hotel room when the temps were nearly zero degrees outside.

They have great varieties on burgers. I got the lamb burger. It was unique and delicious. Great cocktail selection as well. Some of the tap beers were out.
Went back a second time to sit at bar. Chicken sandwich great. Better whiskey selection than I expected. I love Jameson Orange and no one ever has it.

Tried Bru Burger during my U.S. trip and had the Southern Burger. It was fine decent flavor, good portion, and solid ingredients but honestly not the best I’ve had during this vacation, and I’ve tried quite a few burgers.
The vibe was nice and the service was good, but taste-wise it didn’t quite stand out in the competitive American burger scene. Not bad at all, just not memorable.
If you’re nearby and craving a burger, it’s a safe choice but if you’re chasing the best, there are better options out there.

The atmosphere was very nice! We sat outside on a wonderful day so it was perfect. The service and the food were both good. We were sat and served immediately. The presentation of the food is outstanding! It’s easy to see that the chefs and servers care about their profession and the food presentation. It definitely upholds the restaurant to a certain standard which is nice. The food is tasty. A bit greasy but delicious. The sauce they served with the burger was very interesting. I wasn’t able to decide whether I like it or not but it was definitely addicting to eat haha.

The food was pretty freaking tasty. Burgers cooked to our likeness. The chili cheese fries were worth it. We had our adult kids with us so it was a bit pricey. Everyone was very satisfied with their orders. Next time just me and my husband. Excited to go again.

Awesome restaurant & bar for any occasion. The interior is modern and clean. Service is accommodating and friendly, and we’re even kind enough to give us breakfast recommendations for the next day. They recently enclosed their outdoor seating and outfitted it with a heating element so that they have more tables available during these colder months. No wait for late Saturday night! Their specialty cocktails are delicious; the Cupid’s Kiss was our favorite! The dishes are flavorful and tasty, served hot and fresh.

Great staff wonderful food and yes we brought our kids they ate n had a great time staff was patient and made us feel awesome my kids are mini adults lol so they love it when we go out n sit down because they like full experience as well THIS STAFF WENT ABOVE N BEYOND TO MAKE MY KIDS FEEL LIKE MINI ADULTS AND I CANTBTHANK THEM ENOUGH my daughter still talks. Had a great experience. Went Friday night and it was pretty busy, but staff was fast and attentive. All the food came out great and was delivered quickly. Nacho plate was pretty epic. Had a “melt your face burger” and it was plenty spicy. Will certainly be back!
