Loved having brunch here! We missed the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island and ended up staying the night in a nearby hotel. We were searching for a place near the Sayville ferry and this popped up. It was worth every moment. The place was PACKED on a Sunday morning, but we were able to get bar seating. I, the co-pilot got the corned beef hash. And it was DELICIOUS. Definitely properly cut and certainly not from a can! My Pilot got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon and it too was delicious! Their specialty drink menu looked fun, if you’re not driving try the cereal or mimosa flights! I can see how this is easily a local favorite. While our server was not as attentive as they could’ve been, I’d still go out of my way to eat before or after catching the Sayville ferry!

Great place for Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch. Amazing food and drinks. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere amazing. Way better than diner food and IHOP/Denny’s.

I liked the place, the decoration is beautiful, the breakfast was very delicious, the attention was perfect, they were very friendly, the place is small but the restaurant is very warm and cozy, and of course, with perfect company, you have the best time. I recommend it

Do not come hungry because even when they are not busy you will have to wait even for just water. It took 13 minutes just for someone to show up at our table. By the time we actually ordered we had been at our table over 30 minutes. I asked for the check and an extra plate to be brought with the food. They were not. I got up and asked for the extra plate twice before I got it. We did not see our waitress again until we were done eating and she offered more coffee and water which was useless at this point. Honestly the food was excellent but the service was horrible. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Even though we live 5 minutes from this Sayville Brownstones location, we will not return and will take the 20 minutes to go to the Centereach location. Part of the joy of going out to eat is the food but it is also the service. This place only earned a 50% and that is failing on any test.

We were here on day 3 of opening. The please was super busy. The staff was very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Such an improvement from the old Sayville Diner. definitely go check it out.

I’ve been coming to the other diner for years growing up. I went to it now at Brownstones and what a revamp. Very clean, great waitress and the food was delicious. There were also a lot of great new options on the menu.

I was excited to try their blended coffee drink. (instead of just going to Starbucks) I stopped in after the gym with my husband, we were going to just order to go but the place looked so nice that we figured we would sit down. After ordering a soda and going over the lunch menu, we decided there really wasn’t much that we would want to eat. I asked the waitress if we could order one lunch entree and I would get the blended coffee. She informed me that there would be a sharing $5 fee. Okay I understand this for like a group of teenagers sharing some fries at 12am at the diner. But this seemed a little excessive to me, considering my husband who wasn’t hungry was probably going to have what? one bite? So I decided I would just stick with my original plan to get my coffee drink to go . The waitress then told me I would have to close out my bill at the table and order it at the front instead. At this point I said I would just pay for the soda and go about my day. I had the food at a different location, and it was fine so I won’t give 1 star. Honestly it just made for a frustrating experience overall.

First time for Breakfast. Presentation was good had the classic French toast. Bananas and strawberries were sliced not diced. Service was excellent. Only caveat they served the syrup in small plastic cups which end up in our over burdened land fills. One suggestion use glass cups that can be reused.

Always love coming here! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is always great! Can always tell that the ingredients are fresh…not like the fast food restaurants down the street. Would definitely encourage other people to give it a try if they haven’t already.
