Brownstones hits every single time! Food and service were both great! Pretty long wait, which can be expected on weekends. Only thing bad about this location is the size of the parking lot. Place is always packed so it can be difficult to find parking.

I love this place! The outside area is always well maintained, and this is my second time visiting while in Long Island I came all the way from Massachusetts. Every time I come here, the waitresses are super friendly, take my order quickly, and the food is served fast and tastes amazing. I have been wanting to come here for breakfast for a while, but it is always packed, so we got up early on a Sunday morning and made it there as they were opening at 7am. There were only a few people at this time, so if you want to avoid the crowds, get there early. We ordered the cinnamon swirl pancakes and the French toast bites, and I also got the boozey iced coffee flight. Everything was delicious! The waitress we had was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. As we were leaving, the place was starting to fill up. The only negative thing was it was really cold in the restaurant. The waitress did come over and turn the heat on, so I’m sure it warmed up.
Came back for lunch this weekend and got the French dip and a Reuben and both were delicious!

I love going there for a meal. Seating and parking are generally easy to get during the week. Weekends are another story. The service is always friendly, courteous and attentive. I’ve only received the wrong order twice and once was because the server (who’s a different person than the waiter) grabbed the wrong omelette platter.
The food is always good here; they never have a problem customizing my order. My favorites are the hash and eggs or the Cobb salad. I also enjoy their flavored coffees.
The only issue I have with the place is something management can’t do anything about: the other patrons talk so loudly you can barely hear yourself think. You can forget about intimate conversation in there! Otherwise, Brownstones is one of my favorite go-to places for a good meal.

Always a great breakfast and brunch option! Since I went during peak hour, I was put on a digital waiting list where I was able to check my place in the queue. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu! I ordered The Feast and Breakfast Bowl which was all delicious and great quality. I can’t wait to go back and try more on their menu!

Brownstone is an excellent place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The food is always fantastic And the service very friendly. Today December 22nd, 2024, we had the hot chocolate pancakes and french toast Everything was delicious and fresh. Our waitress Tori was very attentive to us. the staff was dressed up in Christmas pajamas, very festive.

The Recovering Know-it-All
It’s worth the wait on many levels. If you’re not sure what to try first, then bring enough friends so you can order 1 of each item and share. You really can’t miss and there’s something for everyone. The whole staff are very congenial, accommodating, and service minded. There are definitely peak times that you can try to avoid, but I’d say just plan ahead and bring a seat cushion.
