My family has ordered chicken here multiple times for parties and family gatherings. The Chicken is always phenomenal! But even better are the kids working here. I can’t say enough about how good the kids that work here are! They’re polite, helpful, and provide the best service EVERY SINGLE TIME, in person and on the phone when we call to place order. We won’t go to any other Browns Chicken. They are the BEST! Great job, you guys should be proud of the customer service you provide!

Went here twice. Both times I ordered all dark meat. Both time I got a breast mixed in with my order. First time they were in the process of cooking the chicken, so at least I got fresh hot food. The second time the chicken had been sitting under heat lamps all day and was terrible.

Amazingly good chicken strips. A simple lunch special of 3 strips, a side and a Grape Crush. Freshly made, hot, and tasted like chicken. The breading was unobtrusive, letting the chicken do the talking. Mashed potatoes were good, the gravy wasn’t salty as some chicken joints are. Biscuit rocked. Plus a gambling area and beer. If they are consistently like this, it’s a sure winner.

I hardly ever see any Brown’s chicken restaurants anymore, so when I saw this one, I knew I had to risk narrowly causing a minor accident just to swerve through several lanes of traffic to make a quick detour here. I placed my order through the drive-thru, and after a bit of a wait, I received my food. Had a long commute home, but the chicken was still warm and crunchy when I arrived.
I ordered the 8pc meal with 3 large sides (corn fritters, mashed potatoes and gravy, and stuffing) and a 1/2lb of chicken livers. Starting off with the fried chicken, the batter and skin were phenomenally crunchy and well-seasoned, and the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. The seasoning and batter mix were on the milder side but still present on the palette and not overwhelming, which I prefer over the aggressive seasoning some other fried chicken locations use. The chicken livers were out of this world. Chef’s kiss. A+. Crunchy breading on the outside, and rich, creamy, vaguely minerally, soft, and perfectly cooked liver on the inside. Once again, beautifully seasoned.
The mashed potatoes were flavorless and tasted like it came from a poorly-funded high school cafeteria, but the gravy made up for it with its bit of saltiness and umami subtlety to complement the blandness of the mashed potatoes. The stuffing was compact and dense. Although not quite so visually appealing, it was decent enough. It was pretty generic in terms of flavor and dour when it comes to presentation, but it was also elevated, yet again, by a bit of the gravy poured over it.
The corn fritters were interesting, and I mean that in a good way. It’s basically a hush puppy with powdered sugar sprinkled over it. I have never had a corn fritter prior to today and was pleasantly surprised by its deep-fried, corny goodness. Crunchy with a faintly sweet exterior and a slightly moist and mealy internal texture with bits of whole corn kernels spread around. Gonna have to give that a try with the gravy, as well.
Overall, the food was good. It brought back some fond memories. Had me feeling nostalgic afterward since it’s been so long since I’ve last eaten Brown’s Chicken, which was when I was just a wee Puppers, and am now a middle-aged Werewolf, so that was quite nice. Thanks for the good food, good service, and the fun trip down memory lane! I’ll definitely be paying another visit. Cheers!

This was my first time here and the food was good and the portions are definitely fair ♂️ this place is a bit hard to find, it’s next to Jiffy Lube and across the street from 7-Eleven and a burrito place also you can’t miss the giant Home Depot across the street. Brown’s chicken comes up a bit different but the main street in front is schmale rd Carol Stream Illinois. I definitely appreciate all the Fantastic meal deals so you don’t even need a coupon and saving money is definitely a plus. I noticed remodeling so the dining room is closed but I look forward to when it opens and also they have video gaming which I don’t gamble but if you do it’s definitely a nice place to relax and gamble in a peaceful atmosphere

Disgusting! The zucchini tasted like dirty water, the cheesy potatoes did not match the picture and tasted like cardboard and the chicken was over cooked and tasted like ash. The restaurant itself hasn’t been updated in decades, the menu is overly complicated and the server said all of two words to me the entire time. The only part of my order that tasted good was the biscuit.

Their grilled chicken tenders are the best! Be patient – they take a while if you go through the drive-thru! But it is well worth the wait! They are always fresh and seasoned perfectly. The young men who work in the drive-thru are always so kind and polite.
